Bachman won after he came in for the injured Kari Lehtonen in the Stars last game. Bachman's fantasy value gets a slight boost for the time-being. He has a good matchup tomorrow vs. the Flames.
Injury
Mike Green has a lower-body injury and his status for the Washington Capitals’ game Sunday at the New York Rangers is uncertain, coach Adam Oates said Saturday.
Green was apparently injured Thursday night at Tampa and only participated in about 15-20 mins of practice. He has 7 points in 14 games so far this season and in the small sample size, it appears as if his league leading offensive defenseman days are over.
Looking more like Timonen will be a game-time decision.
Timonen is the Flyers' anchor on the PP so if he misses time, this could open up opportunity for any of the other Flyers Dmen to step up into more scoring opportunities.

With Halak's return still up in the air, Allen will look to continue his superb play on the road against a tough Canucks team.

After the big contract in the offseason, Garrison has gotten off to an immensely slow start to the season. With 2 points in the first 13 games and no powerplay points, Garrison's value takes a hit if he loses out on the PP opportunity.

The Blues will pose one of the toughest tests for Luongo so far this season as he's embraced his "backup" role and is leading the league in GAA.

The Calgary Flames announced today they have reassigned goaltender Leland Irving to Abbotsford and recalled goaltender Danny Taylor.
Irving's 2-1-1 record is a bit of an anomaly when you look at his 3.33 GAA and .883 SV%. Hopefully you weren't forced to go along for the ride.

No word on if Kreider will go if Nash can play or if he will suit up anyways. It's unlikely that Kreider will find himself at the forefront of the Rangers' offense on Sunday.

He's not happy with Filppula's play and basically said he needs to get it together.
Filppula lined up with Zetterberg and Brunner in practice so he can't ask for a better situation. If you are looking for points on Sunday, he might be worth a waiver pickup.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
