Blood just finished his senior year at the University of North Dakota, scoring three goals and 21 points in 42 games.

Sounds like Nodl is an option to return on Saturday. He scored three goals and seven points in 47 games.

MacDermid was a healthy scratch last night and might get another look in the postseason if the Bruins suffer injuries.
Signing
The Canes have signed forward Jeremy Welsh of Union College to an entry-level contract.
Welsh just completed his third year at Union College, scoring 27 goals and 43 points in 39 games.
Adam McQuaid was limited to 7:00 of ice time. McQuaid played one shift in the second and didn’t come out for the third.
Sounds like McQuaid may have returned to the lineup too soon. The big defender is still expected to be a full-go in the playoffs.
Stepan did not return and was receiving treatment after the game and not available to speak to the media.
Losing Stepan would be a huge blow to the Rangers offense. Check back for a further update on the team's 1A center.

Caps goaltender Michal Neuvirth left Thursday night’s game against the Florida Panthers with 5:39 gone in the second period with what appears to be a left leg or groin injury.
Not good for the Caps who are already without starting goalie Tomas Vokoun. No word on how much playing time Neuvirth will miss but lower-body injuries are not good news for a netminder.
Two games from the end of a career season, in a game that means nothing for the standings nor, really, personal milestones, Parenteau was helped off the ice after what looked like a significant injury to his left leg.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
