Keller (illness) is listed as a scratch on the official roster report for Tuesday's game in Edmonton.

Keller was a surprise, late scratch on Tuesday, with the team not announcing his absence prior to the official roster report being finalized. Liam O'Brien will draw into the lineup in his place.

Clayton Keller
Skinner will start against Utah on Tuesday.

The Oilers have lost two straight games and will turn to Skinner between the pipes on Tuesday against the Utah Hockey Club. Skinner struggled in his previous outing, allowing four goals on 29 shots (.862 SV%) in a 4-3 loss to the Los Angeles Kings. The 26-year-old Skinner has had an inconsistent 2024-25 campaign, posting a 2.89 GAA and .894 SV% in 24 games (13-8-3).

Stuart Skinner
Pettersson (lower-body) will return to the Penguins lineup on Tuesday.

Pettersson has not played since suffering a lower-body injury on December 14th, missing six straight games, but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 28-year-old Pettersson has been a steadying force on the blueline for a Penguins club that has struggled defensively at times. He is averaging 21:47 time-on-ice, recording 13 points (2G / 11A), 56 blocks, and 36 hits in 32 games.

Marcus Pettersson
Luukkonen will start in Dallas on Tuesday.

After losing 13 straight (0-10-3), the Sabres have won three straight, outscoring their competition 17-5. Luukkonen has been stellar during that stretch, allowing five combined goals and posting a .939 SV% in three games (3-0-0). The 25-year-old netminder will be between the pipes on Tuesday against the Dallas Stars, a team he saved 28 of 30 shots against (.933 SV%) in a 4-2 win on October 22nd.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Annunen will start in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Annunen will make just his fourth start as a Predator when Nashville travels to Minnesota to take on the Wild on New Year's Eve. Annunen has played well of late, posting a 2-0-0 record and a .945 SV% across his last three appearances. The 24-year-old netminder has seen his save percentage jump 22 points since being acquired from the Avalanche. He's got a good chance of staying in the win column on Tuesday, as the Preds enter action at an even +100 on the money line.

Justus Annunen
Kochetkov will start in Columbus on Tuesday.

Kochetkov has had a light load by his standards lately, starting only one of the last three games, but will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 25-year-old Kochetkov allowed four goals on 31 shots (.871 SV%) in a 5-4 loss to the Blue Jackets on November 23rd. He has a 2.51 GAA and .900 SV% in 22 games this season (14-7-0). The Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as sizeable -211 road favorites.

Pyotr Kochetkov
Dostal will start against the Devils on Tuesday.

It appears John Gibson may still not be fully recovered from his illness, as the Ducks will turn to Dostal for a third consecutive game. Dostal secured the victory his last time out, allowing three goals on 23 shots in a 5-3 win over the Oilers on Sunday. The 24-year-old netminder brings a 9-10-3 record and a .913 SV% into Tuesday's clash with the Devils. He'll need to be at his best again tonight with the Ducks entering action at +230 on the money line.

Lukas Dostal
Georgiev will start vs. Philadelphia on Tuesday.

Amid a seven-game losing skid, the Sharks hope to return to the win column on New Year's Eve with Georgiev between the pipes. Georgiev has allowed four or more goals in three straight (0-3-0), posting an ugly .869 SV%. The Sharks enter Tuesday's contest as +150 home underdogs against a Philadelphia Flyers club that defeated them 4-3 in a shootout on November 11th.

Alexandar Georgiev
Shesterkin will be placed on IR with an upper-body injury.

Shesterkin was between the pipes for the entirety of Monday's 5-3 loss to the Florida Panthers but was placed on Injured Reserve on Tuesday due to an upper-body injury. A byproduct of poor team play, Shesterkin has struggled this season, posting an uncharacteristic 3.10 GAA and .906 SV% in 27 games (11-15-1). The 29-year-old Shesterkin will be sidelined until at least January 5th.

Igor Shesterkin
Domingue has been recalled from Hartford (AHL).

Igor Shesterkin has been placed on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury, resulting in the Rangers recalling Domingue from Hartford (AHL). The 32-year-old Domingue has a 3.64 GAA and .888 SV% in 14 games with Hartford this season (4-9-1).

Louis Domingue
Comrie will start in Colorado on Tuesday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Jets will give Comrie his third start of December. Comrie has mostly played back-to-back, seeing tough competition, and has struggled, posting a 3.05 GAA and .905 SV% in eight games (3-5-0). The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as +181 road underdogs against a Colorado Avalanche club riding a four-game winning streak.

Eric Comrie
Bortuzzo (lower-body) has been placed on IR retroactive to December 10th.

Bortuzzo has been in and out of the lineup due to injuries this season and has not played since December 10th when he exited Utah's 5-4 loss to the Minnesota Wild due to a lower-body injury after playing only 6:57 time-on-ice. The 35-year-old Bortuzzo is averaging 11:03 time-on-ice and has two points (0G / 2A) in 15 games this season.

Robert Bortuzzo
Stauber will start in Edmonton on Tuesday.

On the tail-end of a back-to-back, after losing 5-2 to the Seattle Kraken last night, Utah HC will turn to Stauber between the pipes. The 25-year-old Stauber has seen limited action but has been solid when called upon, posting a 1.96 GAA and .928 SV% in three games (2-0-1). Utah HC enters Tuesday's contest as +167 road underdogs against an Edmonton Oilers club amid a two-game losing skid (0-1-1).

The Blues will turn to Binnington between the pipes in the Winter Classic against the Chicago Blackhawks. Binnington has had an inconsistent 2024-25 campaign. The 31-year-old netminder has a 2.93 GAA and .895 SV% in 27 games this season (9-14-3).
