Norfolk Admirals rookie forward Cory Conacher has agreed to a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning. An announcement could come as soon as today.
Conacher currently leads the Norfolk Admirals in scoring and should get a chance to play with the Bolts this season.
Of the four players dealing with significant injuries, winger Arron Asham appears to be the only one with a good chance of getting into the lineup during the trip that begins tonight with a game at American Airlines Center and includes a visit Saturday to Denver.
Asham practiced yesterday and is certainly an option for tonight's game. Through 45 games, the rugged winger scored two goals and nine assists with 57 PIM.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators.
