Moore will draw back into the Maple Leafs lineup on Saturday.

Moore has been out of the lineup for the last two games, but is expected to replace Nikita Soshnikov in the lineup tonight vs. the Capitals. Moore has three goals and three assists (six points) in 15 games this season.

Purcell will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

Purcell failed to record a shot or a point in his first two games of the season and was a minus-2 on Friday. He was playing in the Kings’ top-6, but with Tanner Pearson set to return from suspension, Purcell will come out of the lineup on Tuesday.

The Kings have signed Teddy Purcell to a one-year deal worth $1.6 million.

Purcell, 30, broke into the NHL with the Kings, before moving onto the Lightning, Oilers and the Panthers at last year’s trade deadline. He finished the season with 14 goals, 29 assists (43 points) in 76 games with Edmonton and Florida, but now he heads back to the team that he made his NHL debut with in 2007-08.

The Panthers have acquired Teddy Purcell from Edmonton for a third round pick.

Purcell, 30, has picked up 11 goals and 21 assists (32 points) in 61 games in his second season in Edmonton. After spending four and a half years with Tampa Bay (2010-2014) he heads back to the state of Florida, with the Panthers this time around. Purcell will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.

The Rangers have re-signed Dominic Moore to a two-year deal worth $3 million.

Moore had six goals and 12 assists (18 points) in 73 games with the Rangers last season. He was a very valuable piece to the Rangers Stanley Cup push and the 2014 Bill Masterton Trophy winner will be a key member of their bottom six this upcoming season.

The Oilers acquired Teddy Purcell from the Lightning for Sam Gagner.

Purcell is signed through the next two seasons with a $4.5 million dollar cap-hit. The 6-foot-3, 203 lbs. right winger had 12 goals and 30 assists (42 points) in 81 games with the Lightning. Purcell has missed just three games over the last four seasons and is capable of scoring 25 goals with the Oilers this season. He will likely find himself in the Oilers top-6.

Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault said if he were a betting man, he'd bet on Dominic Moore being back in Rangers' lineup Saturday vs. Montreal.

Moore has missed the last six games with an oblique injury. Moore has one assist and a minus-5 rating in 11 games, he is not a realistic fantasy consideration.
