Although the Devils are in the market for a veteran defenseman, coach Pete DeBoer said today that injured rookie defenseman Adam Larsson is on the mend and his injury, which has been called a lower back bruise, isn't more serious than originally thought.
Sounds like Larsson will miss a few more games but he should be OK. The rookie has been a bright point in an average season for the Devils, scoring two goals and 16 points through 47 games.

Trotz said Hornqvist will not make the trip to Detroit and Dallas.
