In eight career starts against the Stars, Howard has a 3-4-1 record with a 2.37 GAA and .916 SV%.

Caron has been limited to only 13 games this season. He needs more playing time and therefore will stay in the AHL for the time being.

Kassian has 25 PIM through four games and could be a healthy source if he comes back up.

In 23 career appearances against the Flames, Vokoun is 13-4-3-1 with a 1.88 GAA, .935 SV% and two shutouts.
Great news for the Flames and Giordano owners as the d-man made a quicker-than-expected recovery. Before getting hurt the undrafted d-man had four goals and eight point through 23 games. He last played on November 29th.

Backlund moves back to a checking line after coach Brent Sutter was looking for more size down the middle. He has three goals and five points through 25 games.

Comeau registered an assist during his first game at center. The Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan native has two goals and six points through 20 games with the Flames.
