Park has been the utility man for the Pens but is not healthy enough to play the last couple of games. Despite his usefulness to the team, he has no fantasy hockey value.

Sounds like Engelland could return to the lineup shortly, which helps the team's depth on the blue line. While last season he established himself as a heavyweight, he's barely fought this year.
Coach Pete DeBoer has said Zajac will likely return to the lineup before Christmas.
Great sign for Zajac moving forward as he continues to progress without setbacks. When he returns, he should knock Adam Henrique down a line or two.
Injury
Lamoriello said Jacob Josefson (fractured right clavicle) has been cleared to skate, but is still a while away from returning.
When Josefsen returns, he will need to fight for playing time. Expect him to return by the end of January and get a lengthy conditioning stint in the AHL.
Taylor Hall is on the ice with his teammates for morning skate. He hasn't taken a full practice yet, so I don't imagine he'd play tonight.
Certainly a step in the right direction for fantasy hockey owners and the Oilers. Check back for a further update on his status as he could return in a couple of games.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 34 shots in his only career appearance against the Canes.

Sounds like Samuelsson could replace Evgenii Dadonov on the fourth line. Expect a further update prior to tomorrow's game.
Matt Bradley back practicing with the Panthers.
Bradley remains out indefinitely but returning to practice is certainly the first step. There are certainly better options than a fourth liner with no timetable to return.

With six defensemen on ice, of course, that means Michael Del Zotto is practicing.
Despite a scary injury at the end of Monday's game, Del Zotto is practicing which means he is OK for the next game.

Hunter called Semin, who took line rushes, as a game-time decision. If he's out, barring a call-up, Caps could go w/ 7 D.

This injury is related to the one that's sidelined him most of the season. While he appears ready for NHL duties, the younger Schenn will need to be healthy in order to produce at this level.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
