Oberg is a physical, stay-at-home defender who may provide the Lightning with a better defensive presence. He has no fantasy hockey value at this time but could push Bruno Gervais out of the lineup.
“It’s been eight weeks and I feel good,” White said. “I’m still rebuilding the strength in my weak leg. I’ve been seeing a lot of the physio guy over here and he’s been doing a good job working with me.”
White is unlikely to return this calendar year from the hernia as this injury can be somewhat debilitating. Expect him to push for a fourth line spot in the new year.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
