Silovs is in the starter's crease at Vancouver's morning skate.

The Canucks will likely turn to Silovs for consecutive starts for the first time this season on Wednesday against the Arizona Coyotes. Silovs has won all three of his games this season, including his most recent outing when he saved 20 of 23 shots (.870 SV%) in a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights. The Canucks enter action as -267 home favourites.

Arturs Silovs
Hill will start on Wednesday vs. Edmonton.

The Golden Knights have lost two straight but will welcome Hill back to the crease after a multi-week absence due to a lower-body injury. Before his injury, Hill had been inconsistent, allowing three or more goals in seven of his last eight (3-5-0), but was solid in his most recent outing, saving 12 of 13 shots (.923 SV%) before exiting the contest, an eventual 4-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The Golden Knights enter action as slight -105 road underdogs.

Adin Hill
Lyon will start on Thursday in Pittsburgh.

The Red Wings, in the middle of an intense push for the final Wild-Card spot in the Eastern Conference, are coming off a devasting 2-1 loss to the Washington Capitals and will return to Lyon between the pipes on Thursday in an equally monumental battle against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Lyon has allowed two or fewer goals in four of his last five (2-2-1) and saved 21 of 23 (.913 SV%) in his loss to the Capitals.

Alex Lyon
Schmid has been reassigned to Utica (AHL) on Wednesday.

Schmid was recalled from the Utica Comets (AHL) on Tuesday as a result of Kaapo Kahkonen battling a lower-body injury. The 23-year-old Schmid has split time between the AHL and NHL this season but has struggled at both levels, posting a 3.15 GAA and .895 SV% in 19 games with the Devils (5-9-1).

Akira Schmid
McDavid (lower body) skated on his own on Wednesday and is considered a game-time decision vs. Vegas.

McDavid skated on Wednesday after being absent from practice on Tuesday. McDavid has likely fallen out of contention for the Art Ross Trophy, nine points behind the scoring leader Nikita Kucherov, but is amid another terrific season with 130 points (31G / 99A) in 74 games.

Connor McDavid
Hofer will start on Wednesday vs. Chicago.

The Blues have lost two of their last three (1-1-1) and will turn to Hofer on Wednesday against the Chicago Blackhawks. Hofer has played well when called upon, allowing three or fewer goals in his last six contests (3-1-2), but has lost two straight, including a 3-2 overtime loss to the San Jose Sharks in his last outing when he allowed three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%). The Blues enter action as -210 home favourites.

Joel Hofer
Fix-Wolansky has been recalled from Cleveland (AHL) on an emergency basis.

Fix-Wolansky has been among the league leaders in the AHL for the past two seasons but has been unable to translate that success to the NHL level, scoring only four points (2G / 2A) in 25 career games with the Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old has 58 points (24G / 34A) in 55 games with the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) this season.

Trey Fix-Wolansky
The Golden Knights have recalled Brendan Brisson from Henderson (AHL).

Brisson was the 29th overall pick of the Golden Knights in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has spent most of the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL but has been effective when called up. The 22-year-old Brisson has eight points (2G / 6A) in 14 games with Vegas this season.

Brendan Brisson
Ingram is expected to start Wednesday in Vancouver.

After a 5-0 loss to the Seattle Kraken last night with Karel Vejmelka between the pipes, the Coyotes will likely turn to Ingram on Wednesday against the Vancouver Canucks. Ingram has allowed two goals in his last two starts (1-1-0), including saving 25 of 27 (.926 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 5-2 victory over the San Jose Sharks. The Coyotes enter action as +231 road underdogs.
