Rich Peverley will be a game time decision for the Bruins
Peverley claimed to be feeling better yesterday but could sit out tonight's game. The Guelph, Ontario native has three goals and seven points over 12 games.

Tuukka Rask off the ice first for the Bruins. Looks like he'll get the start against the Oilers.
In two career starts against the Oilers, Rask holds a 2-0-0 record with a 1.00 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout.

Boll has some fantasy hockey value in leagues that use hits and PIMs. If you own him, make sure to put him back into the lineup tonight.

Mike Smith is expected to start in goal for the Coyotes. Smith, who has won his past four starts, is 2-0-2 vs. Montreal in his career with a 2.11 goals-against average.
In five career appearances against the Habs, Smith holds a 2-0-2 record with a 2.11 GAA and .929 SV%.
Johansson had a "maintenance day," according to team spokesman Sergey Kocharov, who added that the center will make the trip with the Caps to Newark, N.J. Johansson has five goals and three assists this season.
Johansson missed today's practice but will likely play tomorrow. Through 12 games he scored five goals and eight point on pace to trump his previous career highs.

Al Montoya, who made 22 saves in relief of Evgeni Nabokov on Monday, will likely get the start in goal.
Montoya shutout the Avs in his only career start, stopping 23 of 23 shots.
Matt Carkner, on the road back after knee surgery, also practised with the team on Wednesday morning.
That’s a positive sign, too, said MacLean, but his return is not as close as Alfredsson’s. Carkner’s still probably a few weeks away.
Carkner's return will further complicate the back end with either one of the eight NHL defenders moving back to the AHL or moving the heavyweight back to forward. The Winchester, Ontario had been a valuable player in the past and should be a decent PIM stream.

Alex Burrows (back spasms) may try to skate ahead of teammates tomorrow am but won't play vs Kings.
Burrows last played on November 4th and is listed as day-to-day. Remember to keep him out of your lineup tomorrow against the Kings.

Through 11 career starts against the Ducks, Rinne holds a 7-2-2 record with a 1.95 GAA, .934 SV% and two shutouts.

Steve Ott is back in Texas rehabbing a hip pointer, and coach Glen Gulutzan said today that the team will leave him there and allow him to get healthy.
Bad news for Ott, who finally was succeeding on a scoring line. Through 11 games he scored two goals along with eight points. Expect him to miss at least the next three games.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
