Dalpe seems to be moving OK. Not full tilt yet.

Dalpe got on the ice for the first time since his injury, which is an encouraging sign for fantasy hockey owners. Expect him to return to the lineup within the next few weeks and possibly get a demotion to the AHL for conditioning.

Winger Mikael Samuelsson, acquired last Saturday in the David Booth deal, joined the Panthers in Ottawa and will travel with the team to Buffalo before returning to South Florida. Samuelsson said he had no timetable for his return to the ice as he is rehabbing after complications from his sports hernia surgery from last May.

Samuelsson may hold some fantasy hockey value down the line but his indefinite timetable and downgrade in team certainly hurt his overall worth. If you need the roster spot badly, he may not be a bad option to dump.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Ducks winger Jason Blake is hoping to beat his three-month timetable for the tendon damage in his left wrist to heal and return to action for the second half of the season.

Great news for the injured winger after suffering a very scary incident. Despite not producing over his first three games, we feel he will slot right back into his second line role with the team.

It’s been pretty clear since the start of the season that the Devils intend to keep Adam Larsson around, but general manager Lou Lamoriello confirmed the obvious today by saying that the 18-year-old defenseman will stay with the team for at least 10 NHL ganes.

In case you had an doubt, Larssen is in the lineup to stay. Feel free to play him on a nightly basis as long as he remains a top pairing defender who also plays the point on the PP.

Adam Larsson
Talbot blocked a slap shot from Winnipeg's Zach Bogosian with about three minutes left in the first period and limped off the ice. He had to be carried down the tunnel to the dressing room. The shot appeared to hit him on the left foot.

Considering Talbot would later return to the game, he likely will be OK. Keep an eye on this injury moving forward as the gritty center could simply be playing through an injury.

Max Talbot
There has not been an official announcement, but reading between the lines it sounds as if Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Dwayne Roloson will start Saturday against the Jets at the St. Pete Times Forum.

Through 13 career starts against the Jets, Roloson holds a 9-0-1-1 record with a 2.70 GAA and .899 SV%.

Defenseman Clayton Stoner blocked a shot with his hands two shifts in his second period. He was lost for the final 37 minutes with a finger injury, but coach Mike Yeo didn't have an update on the seriousness or specifics of the injury. Obviously, Stoner not being able to return is not a good sign.

The team is already without a defensive d-man in Greg Zanon so losing Stoner could hurt them on the defensive side. Should he remain out for an extended amount of time look for the team to make a roster move.
