I hope to have updates on them later, but as I mentioned on yesterday's blog, this Latendresse thing is obviously worth watching. I'm not positive of the injury, but I do know he's been walking gingerly on that left hip again.
Latendresse has a hip injury just seven games into his return. Look for Cal Clutterbuck to draw back into the lineup, helping out on the right side. Stay tuned for a further update on Latendresse as this could be longterm.

Skinner moves away from Staal but can score on his own.The reigning Calder Memorial Trophy winner has two goals and six points over his first seven games this season.

Poni has two goals through his first seven games as a member of the Canes. After scoring only five goals last night he likely returns to the 15-20 goal range while playing a scoring role in Carolina; value in only deeper leagues at this point.

Ruutu moves up to the top line, playing with Eric Staal. Through his first seven games, the gritty winger has been a bit behind pace with only a goal and three points. Look for his production to rise while playing with an elite center in Staal.

Certainly good news for Doughty, the Kings and fantasy hockey owners. The team plays both Thursday and Saturday and could get their number one d-man back around then.

Ladd will play tonight but likely is less than 100 percent. After getting hit with a shot to-the-face, Ladd will wear a visor tonight.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
