Bozak will not play tonight due to his sore foot. Matthew Lombardi and David Steckel will take his place on the top line.

Eric Boulton hurt his right hand with his one-punch knockdown of San Jose's Douglas Murray Friday night. He will be replaced in the Devils' lineup against the Penguins by Cam Janssen. DeBoer joked that it was an "upper body" injury. When he admitted Boulton's hand was the upper body injury he said: "That's a safe guess. It depends how he's holding it."
If you currently roster Boulton for a boost in PIM, it may be time to let him go. His teammate, Cam Janssen, could be a better option at this point since neither hold any offensive upside.

Over 12 career starts against the former Thrashers, Boucher holds a 4-5-2-1 record with a 2.39 GAA and .901 SV%.
Cold Streak
Coyotes' #KeithYandle says on scale of 1-10 he'd give himself a "3 or 4." Expecting him to revert to top form very soon.
Look for Yandle to pick up his production despite having no goals through his first six games this season. Considering he is owned in 99 percent of leagues, perhaps you can convince a current owner to sell at below market value.
Line Change
I like his game a lot. I think, certainly, his play with the puck, his composure and his attitude about going after it and being aggressive on the offensive part of the game, is something that I’ve always liked in players, and he’s bringing that.
Voynov almost certainly will be demoted once Drew Doughty returns to the lineup. Through his first two games he's failed to register a point with a plus-2 rating. Perhaps he is not quite ready for NHL action...
Line Change
Morrison back on the top line - let's see if this works. #Flames
Last season he scored nine goals and 43 points through 66 games while playing primarily on the top line. Expect that to be his absolute ceiling this season.

I didn’t get to see all the line rushes this morning, but do know that TJ Galiardi will center a line with Joakim Lindstrom and Chuck Kobasew tonight.
Galiardi has one goal through six games but could benefit from some added offensive linemates. Look for the team to shuffle all of their lines
Injury
Goalie Scott Clemmensen (knee) will remain home and face live shooting for the first time since his preseason knee surgery.
Clemmensen will be the team's backup when he does return to the lineup. Last season he only won eight of his 31 appearances, but posted a respectable 2.62 GAA and .911 SV% with one shutout.
However, forward Sean Bergenheim could be out for a while, judging from coach Kevin Dineen’s dour prognosis (core injury). He’s definitely out for tonight and could be doubtful for upcoming three-game Canada-Buffalo trip
Bergenheim's loss is the gain of diminutive forward Tim Kennedy, who figures to stick in the lineup tonight. Stay tuned for a further update on Bergenheim.
Cold Streak
David Booth is off to a slow start, to say the least (one assist and no goals), and he clearly misses playing with centerman Stephen Weiss. He’s also not happy with his growing minus-6 on-ice rating after last year’s team-leading minus-31, and that has been discussed with Dineen. Dineen has cut his ice time compared to past seasons. But no one works harder off the ice than Booth, and he is a streaky player so he’s overdue.
Booth scored 23 goals last season but is still looking for his first this year. Following a few concussions, he never returned to the 30-goal range and seems to actually be regressing with a better supporting cast. Nevertheless, 20 goals this year is not out of the question.
No sign of Cal O'Reilly on the ice.
As expected, O'Reilly won't play today. In his first five games back, the Toronto native has one assist. Expect him to return to the lineup over the next few days.

No Samuelsson, no Sturm in warmup.
Sturm simply does not fit in with the team's speed or system at this point. Through his first six games in a Canucks uni, he managed no points, only three shots on goal and a minus-5 rating.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
