Over six career starts against the Leafs, Anderson has a 4-2-0 record with one shutout, a 1.97 GAA and .944 SV%.

Doesn't sound like Regin will play tonight but he is certainly close to returning to the lineup. Last season he only scored three goals and 17 points as he battled through inconsistency and injury. Look for him to start the season on the third line.

Over four career starts against the Ducks, Lundqvist holds a 2-2-0 record with a 3.02 GAA and .887 SV%.

Kruger should fill in as the third line center. Last season, the Stockholm, Sweden native was held pointless over seven games with a minus-4 rating.

No immediate fantasy hockey value in the AHL.

Sounds like Betts needs more time to recover; look for Andreas Enqvist to remain the fourth line center.
Conklin brings a 3-5-1 record with a 3.17 GAA and .878 SV% over 12 career games against the Avs.

Last season, Christensen scored 11 goals and 27 points over 63 games, mostly centering Marian Gaborik. He could add some offense off the bench but likely only fills occasionally.
Jurcina was scratched for Andrew MacDonald. Last season he scored four goals and 17 points over 46 games, with five points coming on the PP. If he plays every game, he could have some fantasy hockey value.

Sounds like Ovechkin will play tonight. Last season, the consensus fantasy hockey first overall pick scored 32 and 85 points -- both the lowest totals of his career. Expect him to return to the 50-goal, 100-point range this season.

If Wideman can't suit up, he will be replaced by Sean Collins on the third pairing. Last season, the right-handed shooter scored 10 goals and 40 point in what was deemed an off season. After centering Alex Ovechkin most of the preseason, Johansson is beaten out of a job by Matthieu Perreault. Last season he scored 13 goals and 27 points last season, moving between the first and third line pivot. He should at least climb to the 40-point level this season.
