Rutta missed the last two games with an injury he suffered in the tournament opening loss to Canada. Rutta was back skating on the third pairing in Monday's practice, a good signal that he'll be available for Czechia's playoff game vs. Denmark on Tuesday.

DiGiacinto was suspended for one game for an “illegal check to the head or neck" on Martin Fehervary in Italy's second game. He missed the final preliminary game, but is set to return to the lineup for their playoff game vs. Switzerland on Tuesday.

Crinon was ejected in France's loss to Canada for a fight with Tom Wilson and has been banned by the team for the reminder of the tournament. "Crinon's provocative behavior upon leaving the ice, even though he had just been ejected from the game for fighting, constitutes a clear violation of the Olympic spirit and also undermines the values of our sport."
Faksa picked up an injury at the end of Czechia's game vs. Switzerland and is questionable to play in their playoff game against Denmark on Tuesday. David Tomasek skated in his spot on the fourth line in Monday's practice, suggesting that he may not be available to play.

Bussi has been one of the NHL's best stories in 2025-26 after being claimed off waivers by Carolina from Boston in the offseason and has earned himself a three-year, $1.9 million contract extension ($5.7 million total). The 27-year-old holds a ridiculous 23-3-1 record this season to go alongside his 2.16 GAA and .908 SV%. He is expected to be apart of Carolina's future in tandem with Pyotr Kochetkov.


Hellebuyck stopped 17 of 18 shots in the USA's win over Latvia in their tournament opener. Hellebuyck sat for Game 2, but will be back in net for Sunday's game vs. Germany. Hellebuyck and the Americans are large favourites against the Germans.

Silovs allowed three goals on 29 shots in Latvia's win over Germany. So far he's stopped 31 of the 35 shots (.886 SV%) that he's faced in the tournament. He has a chance to make it two wins in a row, as he faces Denmark in a toss-up game.

Andersen allowed three goals on 26 shots in Denmark's 3-1 loss to Germany in their tournament opener. He sat for the USA game, but will be back between the pipes vs. Latvia. The game is basically a coin flip but Denmark enters 0-2 and Latvia comes in at 1-1.

Cantagello played in the first two games of the tournament, but he'll sit in their third preliminary game vs. Canada. Thomas Thiry will replace him in the lineup.
