Tatar will take a seat on Friday after drawing into the lineup for Wednesday's game in Los Angeles. Tatar has eight goals and 14 assists in 67 games with the Kraken and Avalanche this season.

Fleury was recalled last week as well but did not draw into Seatle's lineup and has yet to play an NHL game this season. The 25-year-old defenseman has 33 points (6G / 27A) in 61 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL).

With Adam Larsson and Vince Dunn both unavailable on Friday, Schultz will return to lineup after sitting out the last two games. Schultz has six goals and 16 assists in 63 games this season.

Dunn was a surprise scratch for Friday's game, with the team not announcing his absence prior to warmups. The Kraken will also be without Adam Larsson on Friday, who is away from the team due to personal reasons.

Whitecloud will draw in for Alex Pietrangelo, who was a late scratch due to illness. Whitecloud has two goals and nine assists in 54 games this season.

The Kraken will turn to Grubauer for a third consecutive game when they travel to Anaheim to take on the Ducks on Friday. It is a somewhat surprising development considering Grubauer struggled in Wednesday's game in Los Angeles, allowing five goals on 27 shots as the Kraken fell to the Kings by a score of 5-2. Grubauer does have a good chance of getting back in the win column on Friday, with the Kraken being -170 favourites in Anaheim.

The Golden Knights will turn to Thompson on Friday as they search for their fourth straight victory. Thompson has been tremendous lately, allowing only one goal in six of his last seven appearances (6-0-0), posting a stellar .952 SV%. The Golden Knights enter action on Friday as sizeable -167 road favourites against the Arizona Coyotes.

Pietrangelo was a late scratch on Friday with the Golden Knights not announcing his absence until the start of warmups. His first chance to return to the lineup will be in Vancouver on Monday.

Trenin missed two games this week due to the undisclosed injury but will return in Edmonton on Friday. Trenin has two goals, 16 shots, and 26 hits in 10 games with the Avalanche.

Nichuskin started skating in Denver this week and will return to the lineup on Friday against the Edmonton Oilers. The 29-year-old is having a sensational year despite missing part of the season due to personal reasons, with his 26 goals and 50 points in 48 games played.

Fresh off a disappointing 5-0 loss to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday, the Oilers will switch to Skinner between the pipes on Friday against the Colorado Avalanche. Skinner has allowed three or more goals in five of his last six (3-1-2), including allowing three on 29 shots (.897 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-2 overtime loss to the St. Louis Blues. The Oilers enter action as -137 home favourites.

Zamula will take a seat on Friday as Marc Staal draws back into the Flyers' lineup. Zamula has five goals and 15 assists in 63 games this season.

Staal will make his first appearance since March 16th when the Flyers travel to Buffalo on Friday. Yegor Zamula will sit in his place.

Kotkaniemi will draw right back into the Hurricanes lineup on Friday after sitting out Thursday's game against the Bruins. He will fill in for Andrei Svechnikov, who is a late scratch due to an illness.

Svechnikov was a late scratch on Friday, with the team only announcing his absence at the start of warmups. Jesperi Kotkaniemi will likely draw back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch on Thursday.

The Rangers will turn to Quick for the second time in the last four games as the Rangers visit the Detroit Red Wings. Quick struggled in his last outing, allowing five goals on 32 shots (.844 SV%), but received adequate offensive support from his team in an eventual 8-5 win over the Arizona Coyotes. The Rangers enter on Friday as -137 road favourites.

The Sabres will turn to Luukkonen for the third straight game on Friday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Luukkonen was solid in his last outing, snapping a two-game losing skid by saving 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) in a 6-2 victory over the Washington Capitals. The Sabres enter action as -122 home favourites.

Blankenburg will begin his second stint in Columbus this season on Friday after being recalled on an emergancy basis from Cleveland (AHL). The 25-year-old failed to pick up a point across his six games played earlier in the season but had three SOG while averaging 17:52 TOI.

With Columbus unsure of the status of both Elvis Merzlikins and Daniil Tarasov heading into Saturday, they have recalled 30-year-old Malcolm Subban from Cleveland (AHL) on an emergency basis. The well-traveled goaltender last appeared in the NHL with Buffalo in 2021-22 and has played for four teams across seven NHL seasons and has a 36-33-9 record, 3.10 GAA and .898 SV% in 86 games played.
