Foligno (lower body) is good to play on Tuesday after missing morning skate.

Foligno recently returned from a multi-week absence due to a lower-body injury, but has played the last two games for the Wild and will remain in the lineup on Tuesday despite missing the morning skate. The bruising forward has five penalty minutes and five shots in his last two games.

Marcus Foligno
Fleury will start on Tuesday vs. Arizona.

Fleury has won two straight and will return to the crease for the third time in the last four games. The veteran netminder saved 27 of 30 shots (.900 SV%) in his last outing, a 4-3 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators. Fleury and the Wild enter action as -192 home favourites against an Arizona Coyotes club they defeated 5-2 less than a week ago when Fleury saved 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%).

Marc-Andre Fleury
Merzlikins will start on Tuesday in Montreal.

Merzlikins has not started since March 2nd, but he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens. Merzlikins allowed three goals on 30 shots (.900 SV%) in his last outing against the Canadiens, a 4-2 loss in November. That said, he has allowed two or fewer goals in his last three starts (2-1-0), including saving 26 of 28 (.929 SV%) in a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in his last contest.

Elvis Merzlikins
Lyon will start on Tuesday in Buffalo.

The Red Wings have lost five straight and will return to Lyon between the pipes for the sixth time in the last seven games. Lyon has lost his early season touch lately, allowing four or more goals in four straight (0-4-0), including a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes in his last outing when he allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%). The Red Wings enter action as +116 road underdogs against the Buffalo Sabres.

Alex Lyon
Chrona was the first goalie off at San Jose's morning skate.

With the departure of Kaapo Kahkonen, Chrona has been thrust into a larger workload for the Sharks and will likely start his third straight game on Tuesday. Chrona has showcased mixed results so far but is coming off his first career victory, saving 31 of 32 shots (.969 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. That said, the Sharks are significant +279 road underdogs against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Magnus Chrona
Athanasiou (groin) appears ready to return on Tuesday after taking full part in Chicago's morning skate.

Athanasiou has not played since mid-November but is nearing an imminent return to the lineup. The 29-year-old center has struggled through injuries this season with four assists, 20 SOG, and a -5 plus/minus through 11 games.

Andreas Athanasiou
Oettinger will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Oettinger will return to the crease for the sixth time in the last seven games on Tuesday night. The 25-year-old netminder has been inconsistent all season, highlighted by a six-game stretch (5-1-0), where he has impressively allowed two or fewer goals four times and allowed a concerning five or more twice. That said, he saved 25 of 27 shots (.926 SV%) in his last outing, a 6-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Stars, riding a five-game winning streak, are slight -106 home favourites against an equally hot Florida Panthers club.

Jake Oettinger
Guentzel (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision to make his Carolina debut on Tuesday.

Guentzel was acquired in a trade from the Pittsburgh Penguins last week and could make his Hurricanes debut on Tuesday night after being activated from Injured Reserve. The 29-year-old Guentzel has not played since February 14th but was amid another strong campaign, with 22 goals and 30 assists (52 points) in 50 games this season. At the Hurricanes' morning skate on Tuesday, Guentzel was skating on a line with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Martin Necas.

Jake Guentzel
Mrazek was in the starter's crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

The Blackhawks have won two of their last three outings, but Mrazek has not been in between the pipes for either. The Czech netminder has allowed four or more goals in three straight (0-3-0) and is riding a six-game losing skid (0-5-1). That said, Mrazek and the Blackhawks are slight -107 home favourites against an Anaheim Ducks club that has scored only six goals in their last four games (1-3-0).

Petr Mrazek
Greenway (undisclosed) will return on Tuesday vs. Detroit.

Greenway did not play the last game for the Sabres due to an undisclosed ailment but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 27-year-old Greenway has 21 points (9G / 12A) in 52 games this season. In a corresponding move, Lukas Rousek will be a healthy scratch.

Jordan Greenway
Gurianov is expected to make his Flyers' debut on Tuesday vs. San Jose.

Last week, the Flyers acquired Denis Gurianov from the Predators for Wade Allison. Gurianov began the 2023-24 campaign in the AHL with the Milwaukee Admiral, scoring an impressive 30 points (12G / 18A) in 27 games. He was called up to the Predators mid-season and struggled to translate his skills to the NHL level, as has been the case throughout his career, scoring only two points (1G / 1A) in 14 games.
