Myers (lower body) will not return on Wednesday vs. Edmonton but is expected back on Saturday instead.

Myers has been out since February 29th due to a lower-body injury but was a full participant in Tuesday's practice and is expected to return on Saturday against the Washington Capitals. The 34-year-old towering defender will make a welcome return as he has enjoyed a strong fifth season in Vancouver with four goals, 23 points, 67 SOG, 63 PIMs and a +12 plus/minus through 62 games played before his injury.

Tyler Myers
Fehervary (upper body) is a game-time decision on Wednesday in Edmonton but is tracking to return.

Fehervary played only 1:36 time-on-ice in his last game on February 17th before exiting the game with a lower-body injury and has missed 10 games since but could return to the lineup on Wednesday. The hard-hitting Slovak defenseman had 12 hits and one assist in his last four games before his injury.

Martin Fehervary
Dowd (lower body) is a game-time decision on Wednesday in Edmonton but is expected to return.

Dowd has been on injured reserve since suffering a lower-body injury on February 20th. The 33-year-old centre has been solid in his usual bottom-six role this season, with eight goals, 16 points, 45 SOG, 30 PIMs and +8 plus/minus through 45 games before his injury.

Nic Dowd
Wilson (upper body) is a game-time decision on Wednesday in Edmonton but is expected to return.

Wilson did not play on Monday due to an upper-body injury but could return to the lineup on Wednesday against the Edmonton Oilers. After an unproductive start to the season, Wilson has turned things around with seven points (3G / 4A) in his last eight games.

Tom Wilson
Kuemper was the first goalie off the ice at Washington's morning skate.

Kuemper has not played since February 26th, but after the Capitals suffered a 3-0 loss to the Winnipeg Jets in their last outing, he will likely return to the crease on Wednesday. Despite his lack of activity between the pipes, Kuemper is riding a two-game winning streak, including saving 18 of 21 shots (.857 SV%) in his last game, a 6-3 victory over the Ottawa Senators. The Capitals enter action as +260 road underdogs against the Edmonton Oilers.

Darcy Kuemper
Marner (lower body) did not skate on Wednesday and is not expected to return on Thursday in Philadelphia.

Marner has not practiced this week and will likely miss Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers. With Marner unlikely to suit up on Thursday, the recently recalled Nicolas Robertson will likely be the beneficiary and draw back into the lineup.

Mitch Marner
Martin (lower body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday in Buffalo.

Martin did not play in Monday's 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings but has a chance to return to the lineup on Thursday against the Buffalo Sabres as he is a game-time decision. Martin is riding a two-game point streak (0G / 2A) while averaging a fraction above 10 minutes of ice time.

Matt Martin
St. Louis has signed Matthew Kessel to a two-year, $1.6 million contract extension.

Kessel has only played one game with the Blues since February 24 but has signed a two-year, $1.6 million contract extension. The 23-year-old Kessel was the fifth-round pick of the Blues in the 2020 NHL Draft and has three points (0G / 3A) in 23 games this season.

Matthew Kessel
Samsonov will start on Thursday in Philadelphia.

The Maple Leafs will turn to Samsonov for the third time in the last four games on Thursday against the Philadelphia Flyers. Samsonov has won three straight, allowing six total goals, including saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) in a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens in his last outing. The Maple Leafs defeated the Flyers 4-3 in overtime on February 15th when Samsonov saved 29 of 32 shots (.906 SV%).

Ilya Samsonov
Montrembeault will start on Thursday vs. Boston.

The Canadiens won 3-0 on Tuesday, courtesy of a 41-save shutout from Cayden Primeau, but will return Montebeault between the pipes on Thursday. Montembeault has lost three straight, allowing three goals in each, including a 24-save performance (.889 SV%) in a 3-2 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs in his last outing. Montembeault last faced the Bruins on January 20th and had an abysmal outing, allowing eight goals on 30 shots (.733 SV%) in a 9-4 loss.

Sam Montembeault
Lyon will start on Thursday vs. Arizona.

The struggling Red Wings will turn to Lyon again on Thursday as they attempt to snap a six-game losing skid. After a tremendous start to his season, Lyon has been abysmal lately, allowing four or more goals in five straight (0-5-0), posting a .850 SV%. The Red Wings have a favourable matchup on Thursday against an Arizona Coyotes club that defeated them 4-0 one week ago.

Alex Lyon
Johansen (hip) is out indefinitely as he continues to get images done/exams from team doctors.

Immediately after being acquired in a trade for Sean Walker and a first-round pick, the Flyers placed Johansen on waivers and is now out indefinitely with a hip injury. Johansen struggled with the Avalanche, scoring only 23 points (13G / 10A) in 63 games and his future this season is largely uncertain.

Ryan Johansen
Cernak (lower body) is expected to rejoin Tampa Bay's lineup on Thursday vs. New York.

Cernak exited Tampa Bay's last outing, a 7-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers, after playing only 12:31 time-on-ice due to a lower-body injury. However, with five days between contests, Cernak appears to be fully healed and is expected to play on Thursday against the New York Rangers. The Slovak defenseman has nine points (1G / 8A), 139 hits, and 83 blocks in 53 games this season.

Erik Cernak
Jeannot (upper body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday vs. New York but is trending in the right direction.

Jeannot was activated off Injured Reserve in February and returned to the lineup on February 13th but was limited to only 5:44 time-on-ice before re-aggravating his lower-body injury. He has played in only one game since January 6th. The 26-year-old bruising winger has filled his bottom-six role well this season with 12 points (6G/6A), 52 SOG, 61 PIMs, and a -11 plus/minus in 41 games played before the injury.

Tanner Jeannot
Marino (upper body) is day-to-day and questionable to dress on Thursday vs. Dallas.

Despite playing 24:58 time-on-ice on Monday, his third-highest total of the season, Marino is battling an upper-body injury and his status for Thursday's game against the Dallas Stars is up in the air. The 26-year-old defenseman has three points (0G / 3A), three shots, and four hits in his last three games.

John Marino
Siegenthaler (concussion) is expected to be out for an extended period of time and will not travel with the Devils on their upcoming road-trip.

Siegenthaler exited Monday's 3-1 loss to the New York Rangers after playing only 11:24 time-on-ice. The 26-year-old defenseman appeared in 11 straight games after returning from a multi-week absence due to a foot injury earlier this season. He has nine points (1G / 8A), 68 hits, and 79 blocks in 49 games this season.
