Hayton (undisclosed) appears to be out on Tuesday vs. Minnesota.

Hayton has begun to find productivity lately but is unlikely to play on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild. In his last six games, Hayton has scored four points (2G / 2A) after scoring only two points (0G / 2A) in his previous 11.

Barrett Hayton
Sanford will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

Sanford performed well in the last three games for the Blackhawks, tallying one point (0G / 1A), seven shots, and three hits. He exits the lineup on Tuesday to allow Andreas Athanasiou (groin) to play his first game since mid-November.

Zach Sanford
Slaggert signed a two-year, entry-level contract on the weekend and is expected to make his debut on Friday vs. Los Angeles.

Slaggert was the third-round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft and has earned himself a two-year, entry-level contract. The 21-year-old forward has spent the last four seasons playing collegiate hockey with Notre Dame and scored 31 points (20G / 11A) in 36 games this season.

Landon Slaggert
Mrazek will start Tuesday vs. the Ducks.

The Blackhawks have won two of their last three outings, but Mrazek has not been in between the pipes for either. The Czech netminder has allowed four or more goals in three straight (0-3-0) and is riding a six-game losing skid (0-5-1). That said, Mrazek and the Blackhawks are slight -107 home favourites against an Anaheim Ducks club that has scored only six goals in their last four games (1-3-0).

Petr Mrazek
Vejmelka will start Tuesday in Minnesota.

Vejmelka is responsible for two of the Coyotes' last three wins and will return to the crease for the fourth time in the last seven games. The Czech netminder has allowed three or fewer goals in three straight (2-1-0) but is coming off a 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild, where he allowed three goals on 26 shots (.885 SV%). The Coyotes enter action as +171 road underdogs against Minnesota.

Karel Vejmelka
Luukkonen will start on Tuesday vs. Detroit.

Luukkonen has started 11 of the 12 games for the Sabres and will return to the crease again on Tuesday night. The 25-year-old Luukkonen has been tremendous this season, a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season for the Sabres. In his last outing, Luukkonen saved 30 of 32 shots (.938 SV%) in a 3-2 win against the high-powered offence of the Edmonton Oilers. The Sabres enter action on Tuesday as -125 home favourites against the Detroit Red Wings, losers of five in a row.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Leonard has been recalled from Tucson (AHL) on Tuesday.

Leonard has played 64 career NHL games but has spent the 2023-24 campaign exclusively in the AHL, scoring 27 points (11G / 16A) in 54 games with the Tuscon Roadrunners. The 25-year-old Leonard was the sixth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.

John Leonard
Jarry will start on Tuesday in Ottawa.

The Penguins are desperate for a win and will turn to Jarry between the pipes for the fourth time in the last five games. Jarry has allowed three or more goals in each of his last four games (1-3-0), including four on 42 shots (.905 SV%) in a 4-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday. The Penguins have been outscored by an alarming 15-1 score over their last three games (0-3-0) and enter action as slight -115 road favourites against the Ottawa Senators.

Tristan Jarry
Athanasiou (groin) will return on Tuesday vs. Anaheim.

Athanasiou has not played since mid-November but will make his return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 29-year-old center has struggled through injuries this season with four assists, 20 SOG, and a -5 plus/minus through 11 games.

Andreas Athanasiou
Foligno (lower body) is good to play on Tuesday after missing morning skate.

Foligno recently returned from a multi-week absence due to a lower-body injury, but has played the last two games for the Wild and will remain in the lineup on Tuesday despite missing the morning skate. The bruising forward has five penalty minutes and five shots in his last two games.

Marcus Foligno
Fleury will start on Tuesday vs. Arizona.

Fleury has won two straight and will return to the crease for the third time in the last four games. The veteran netminder saved 27 of 30 shots (.900 SV%) in his last outing, a 4-3 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators. Fleury and the Wild enter action as -192 home favourites against an Arizona Coyotes club they defeated 5-2 less than a week ago when Fleury saved 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%).

Marc-Andre Fleury
Merzlikins will start on Tuesday in Montreal.

Merzlikins has not started since March 2nd, but he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Montreal Canadiens. Merzlikins allowed three goals on 30 shots (.900 SV%) in his last outing against the Canadiens, a 4-2 loss in November. That said, he has allowed two or fewer goals in his last three starts (2-1-0), including saving 26 of 28 (.929 SV%) in a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in his last contest.

Elvis Merzlikins
Lyon will start on Tuesday in Buffalo.

The Red Wings have lost five straight and will return to Lyon between the pipes for the sixth time in the last seven games. Lyon has lost his early season touch lately, allowing four or more goals in four straight (0-4-0), including a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Arizona Coyotes in his last outing when he allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%). The Red Wings enter action as +116 road underdogs against the Buffalo Sabres.

Alex Lyon
Chrona was the first goalie off at San Jose's morning skate.

With the departure of Kaapo Kahkonen, Chrona has been thrust into a larger workload for the Sharks and will likely start his third straight game on Tuesday. Chrona has showcased mixed results so far but is coming off his first career victory, saving 31 of 32 shots (.969 SV%) in a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. That said, the Sharks are significant +279 road underdogs against the Philadelphia Flyers.
