Georgiev will start against the Red Wings on Wednesday.

Georgiev had the night off on Monday and has served as the backup in three of the last six, but will return to the crease on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 28-year-old Georgiev was unsuccessful in his last outing, allowing four goals on 34 shots (.882 SV%) in a 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators and has allowed four goals in two of his last three (1-2-0). The Avalanche were defeated 2-1 in overtime by the Red Wings two weeks ago but enter action as -193 home favourites on Wednesday night.

Pospisil has been suspended three games for boarding the Kraken's Vince Dunn.

Vince Dunn exited the third period of Monday's game against the Flames after suffering the hit from Pospisil and is yet to return to the lineup, dealing with what the team has deemed to be an upper-body injury. Pospisil has six goals and nine assists in 45 games this season and will be eligible to return to the Flames' lineup for next Tuesday's game against the Avalanche.

Martin Pospisil
The Kings signed Moverare to a two-year contract worth an AAV of $0.775M through the 2025-26 season.

The timing is a bit bizarre considering Moverare was just placed on waivers earlier today. Moverare has played 10 games with the Kings this season, being held off the scoresheet, but has spent most of the 2023-24 Campaign with the Ontario Reign (AHL), posting 18 points (2G / 16A) in 34 contests.

Sogaard will start in Anaheim on Wednesday.

Sogaard will make a second consecutive start for the Senators when they travel to Anaheim to take on the Ducks on Wednesday. Sogaard was unfortunate to pick up the loss his last time out, stopping 36 of the 39 shots he faced as the Senators fell to the Flyers by a score of 4-2. He owns an underwhelming .857 SV% across five appearances with the Senators this season, but luckily for Sogaard, he's got a great chance of getting back in the win column on Wednesday. The Senators are -200 favourites against a depleted Ducks' team.

Mads Sogaard
The Golden Knights acquired Noah Hanifin in a three-team trade that involved the Flames and the Flyers.

The Golden Knights gave up a conditional 2025 first-round pick, a conditional third-round pick, a 2024 fifth-round pick and Daniil Miromanov to acquire Hanifin. The Flames retained 50 percent of Hanifin's contract and the Flyers retained 25 percent as a third-party broker. At 25 percent, Hanifin will carry a $1.2375M AAV cap-hit. The 27-year-old defenseman heads to Vegas with 11 goals and 24 assists (35 points) in 61 games this season.

Noah Hanifin
Los Angeles has signed Jacob Ingham to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 AAV.

Ingham was signed to a one-year, two-way contract worth an AAV of $775,000 and was instantly assigned to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL). The 23-year-old has spent the majority of the season with Greenville and has an impressive 15-6-1 record, .916 SV% and 2.65 GAA. He's made six very strong appearances with Ontario (AHL) this season as well (.917 SV%).

Jacob Ingham
The Rangers have acquired Alex Wennberg from the Kraken for a 2024 second-round pick and a 2025 4th round pick.

Wennberg was a healthy scratch for the Seattle Kraken on Monday with his name circulating trade rumours, claims validated on Wednesday after being dealt to the New York Rangers. The 29-year-old Wennberg is an impending UFA and has seen his production dip in recent years. That said, he registered three points (1G / 2A) and six shots on goal in his last three games.

Alex Wennberg
Carrick is expected to make his Oilers debut on Thursday vs. Columbus.

Carrick provides some depth in the Oilers' bottom six despite struggling offensively over the last two seasons with the Anaheim Ducks. In his last 113 games with the Ducks, Carrick has tallied only 18 points (11G / 7A), after scoring a more impressive 25 points (13G / 12A) in his previous 77.

Sam Carrick
Henrique is expected to make his Oilers' debut on Thursday vs. Columbus.

Adam Henrique's name has circulated trade rumours, finally being materialized on Wednesday in a trade to the Edmonton Oilers. Henrique is pacing for the best offensive season of his career, already with 42 points (18G / 24A) in 60 games, just nine points less than his 51-point career high set in the 2011-12 season with the New Jersey Devils.

Adam Henrique
Philadelphia has signed Nick Seeler to a four-year, $10.8 million ($2,700,000) contract extension.

Seeler's name was circulating through trade rumours recently, but the Flyers opted to keep the 30-year-old defenseman after trading Sean Walker to the Colorado Avalanche. Seeler exited Monday's 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues in the third period after playing 16:57 and is currently on injured reserve on a week-to-week basis.

Nick Seeler
Mantha will make his Vegas debut on Thursday vs. Vancouver.

Mantha was acquired in a trade from the Washington Capitals for a 2024 second-round pick and a 2026 fourth-round pick. He will likely slot in on the third line with Paul Cotter and Nicolas Roy. Mantha scored 34 points (20G / 14A) in 56 games with the Capitals this season.

Anthony Mantha
Pavel has been recalled from the Colorado Eagles (AHL) and is expected to play on Wednesday.

Pavel is an undrafted forward out of the Czech Republic who made his NHL debut with the Avalanche earlier this season. He is slated to play his second career game on Wednesday. Pavel has seven points (3G / 4A) in 48 games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) this season.
