Kampf (illness) skated during Wednesday's morning skate but is considered a game-time decision.

Kampf played on Monday night, was absent from practice on Tuesday, but participated in the morning skate on Wednesday. Kampf has two points (1G / 1A) in his last 10 games while predominantly centring the teams' fourth line.

David Kampf
Samsonov will start on Wednesday vs. Buffalo.

Samsonov did not play in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins but will return to the crease on Wednesday night. The 27-year-old Samsonov has started three of the last five games for the Maple Leafs (2-1-0) and saved 32 of 35 shots (.914 SV%) in his last outing, a 4-3 victory over the New York Rangers. The Maple Leafs enter action on Wednesday as -175 home favourites against a Buffalo Sabres club that annihilated them 9-3 on December 21st.

Ilya Samsonov
Seeler (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve and is considered out week-to-week.

Seeler exited Monday's 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues in the third period after playing 16:57. His impending absence is a tough loss for the Flyers as he has been an integral part of their defensive core and has also been a name actively circulating through trade rumours.

Nick Seeler
Washington signed Sandin to a five-year, $23 million contract extension ($4,600,000 AAV).

Sandin was acquired via trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs last year and has provided a secondary offensive punch from the Capitals' blueline in his first full season with the club. He currently has five points (1G / 4A) in his last seven games and will be signed with the Capitals until the end of the 2028-29 campaign.

Rasmus Sandin
Samsonov was in the starter's crease for Toronto's morning skate.

Samsonov did not play in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins but will likely return to the crease on Wednesday night.

McTavish is in a walking boot but does not have any broken bones; no timeline.

The Ducks avoided a potentially devastating loss as McTavish did not suffer any broken bones after suffering a lower-body injury in a 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on March 1st. McTavish will likely miss his second straight game on Tuesday when the Ducks host the Ottawa Senators. Before his injury, McTavish had nine points (4G / 5A) in his last eight games.

Mason McTavish
Ducks did not have an update on Carlsson (upper-body); not expected to play Wednesday.

Carlsson has missed the last two games for the Ducks and is unlikely to play on Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators. Before his injury, the rookie Carlsson had collected three points (1G / 2A) in his last seven games.

Leo Carlsson
Tanev (trade) will make his Stars debut in San Jose on Tuesday.

The Stars acquired Tanev on Wednesday by giving up a 2024 second-round pick, a 2026 fourth-round pick, Artem Grushnikov and a conditional 2026 third-round pick to acquire Tanev. Tanev is a rugged defenseman, who has racked up 171 blocked shots this season to go along with one goal and 13 assists (14 points) in 56 games. He should bring plenty of stability to the Stars' second pairing. He has missed two games since joining the Stars due to immigration issues.

Chris Tanev
Talbot will start against the Canucks on Tuesday.

After a rough two-month stretch, Talbot has seemingly re-emerged as the go-to guy between the pipes for the Kings and will start for the third straight game. Talbot has won four of his last five starts, allowing fewer than two goals four times and posting a stellar .955 SV%. The Kings enter action with even -105 odds at home in a divisional matchup against the Vancouver Canucks.

Cam Talbot
Daccord will start in Winnipeg on Tuesday.

Daccord will be back between the pipes for the first time since February 24th after Philipp Grubauer got the nod in each of the Kraken's previous four games. Daccord suffered through one of his worst starts of the season his last time out, allowing four goals on just 13 shots before being pulled in favour of Grubauer. The 27-year-old netminder owns a .919 SV% and a 16-12-10 record on the season. He draws a tough assignment on Tuesday as the Kraken find themselves as +140 underdogs in Winnipeg.
