Colorado is locked into third place in the Central Division and will rest several key players for their final two games, including Josh Manson, in anticipation of their first round playoff matchup. Manson has been out of the lineup since March 14th and ends the 2024-25 campaign with 15 points (1G / 14A) in 48 games.

Minnesota will turn to Gustavsson in the crease on Friday as they can virtually cement a berth in the playoffs with a win over the Calgary Flames. Gustavsson was solid in his most recent outing, saving 23 of 25 shots (.920 SV%) in a 3-2 victory over the Dallas Stars. The 26-year-old netminder has a solid 2.54 GAA and .915 SV% in 55 appearances this season (30-18-6). Minnesota enters Friday's contest as -116 road favorites against a Calgary team with points in four straight (2-0-2).

Draisaitl will remain out on Friday vs. San Jose but will play before the end of the regular season.

Draisatil will miss a fourth consecutive game, and seventh in his last 10, due to an undisclosed injury. It's unclear if his current ailment is related to the injury that kept him out of the lineup for three games in March but he is expected to return before the playoffs. The 29-year-old Draisaitl has 106 points (52G / 54A) in 71 games this season.

McCabe has not played since April 2nd due to an undisclosed injury and will likely miss at least one more game, as he will not play on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens. The 31-year-old McCabe is averaging 21:31 time-on-ice, recording 23 points (2G / 21A), 135 blocks, 118 hits, and a +23 plus/minus in 66 games this season.
