Bains is expected to make his NHL debut on Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Bains was recalled last week by Vancouver and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The undrafted 23-year-old has enjoyed an impressive season in the AHL, scoring 39 points (9G / 30A) in 42 games with the Abbotsford Canucks.

Demko will start on Tuesday in Colorado.

After witnessing his team give up 10 goals as the backup in a 10-7 loss to the Minnesota Wild yesterday, the Canucks will turn to their starting goalie Demko on Tuesday night. Demko saw his three-game winning streak end in his last outing, giving up four goals on 28 shots (.857 SV%) in a 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets. The Canucks face off against the Colorado Avalanche as +126 road underdogs in a battle of Western Conference heavyweights. Demko tended the twine against the Avalanche on November 22nd and allowed four goals on 24 shots (.833 SV%) in a 5-2 loss.

Bolduc has been recalled from Springfield (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday.

Bolduc was recalled on Tuesday and is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday against the New York Islanders. The 20-year-old Bolduc was drafted 17th overall by the Blues in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Bolduc has 23 points (8G / 15A) in 48 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL) this season.

Zack Bolduc
Talbot was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles morning skate.

Talbot will likely return to the crease on Tuesday, starting consecutive games for only the second time in over a month. The veteran netminder was tremendous on Sunday, saving 29 of 30 shots (.967 SV%) in a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins, his first win since December 23rd, ending an abysmal 11-game stretch (0-7-3) where he posted a .877 SV%. The Kings are -245 home favourites against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Cam Talbot
O'Connor (lower body) will miss a fourth-straight game on Tuesday vs. Vancouver.

O'Connor has missed the last three games due to a lower-body injury and will miss a fourth on Tuesday despite continuing to be listed as day-to-day. Before his injury, O'Connor had six points (5G / 1A) in his last seven games while averaging just north of 15 minutes per night.

Logan O'Connor
Vanecek (lower body) has been placed on Injured Reserve retroactive to Feb 10th, 2024.

Vanecek was excellent in a losing effort in his last outing, allowing one goal on 32 shots (.969 SV%) in a 1-0 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes but was surprisingly sidelined after with a lower-body injury. Nico Daws has started each game in Vanecek's absence and has done an admirable job filling in between the pipes.

Vitek Vanecek
Siegenthaler (foot) has been activated from Injured Reserve and is expected to return on Tuesday.

Siegenthaler has been out of the lineup for over a month due to a broken foot but appears ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday. The 26-year-old defender has eight points (1G / 7A) in 38 games this season and will be a welcome addition to a Devils squad that has had an injury-depleted defensive core lately, most notably with Dougie Hamilton on LTIR.

Jonas Siegenthaler
Sorokin will start on Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

The Islanders will return to Sorokin on Tuesday night for his third straight start. Sorokin struggled in his last outing at the Stadium Series against the New York Rangers on Sunday, allowing two goals in the final five minutes en route to an eventual 6-5 overtime loss. Before that, Sorokin was amid one of his best stretches of the season, allowing three or fewer goals in five straight games (3-1-1), boasting an impressive .936 SV%. The Islanders enter action as +117 road underdogs against a struggling Pittsburgh Penguins team.

Ilya Sorokin
Georgiev will start on Tuesday vs. Vancouver.

Georgiev will tend the twine for the fifth time in the last six games for the Avalanche on Tuesday. Georgiev has won his last two outings but has allowed three or more goals in four straight (2-2-0), posting a pedestrian .888 SV%. Colorado enters action on Tuesday night as a -139 home favourite against a Vancouver Canucks club that was involved in a roller-coaster 10-7 loss to the Minnesota Wild yesterday.

Alexandar Georgiev
Merrill will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Dakota Mermis will draw into the lineup on Tuesday, making Merrill the odd man out for the first time since January 25th. Merrill recorded an assist, two shots, and one hit while playing 11:32 time-on-ice in Minnesota's thrilling 10-7 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday.

Jon Merrill
Mermis will draw back into Minnesota's lineup on Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Mermis had been a regular in the lineup for six weeks before being a healthy scratch in the last two games. The 30-year-old Mermis has seven points (2G / 5A) in 37 games this season while primarily playing on a defensive pair with Jon Merrill, who will draw out of the lineup in favour of Mermis on Tuesday.
