Svechnikov appeared almost ready to return Thursday as he was originally a game-time decision with his upper-body injury but has officially been ruled out. The 23-year-old last appeared fro the Hurricanes on January 19th and has an impressive 30 points (11G/19A) in 29 games played so far in 2023-24.
Kochetkov returned from a nearly month-long absence in a 16-save (.842 SV%) loss to Vancouver in his previous start and will take the crease again Thursday in a tough showdown vs. Colorado. The 24-year-old has struggled since being called upon full-time in Frederik Anderson's absence, with his 11-8-3 record, 2.60 GAA and .898 SV%. He takes on the Colorado Avalanche Thursday, who lost both of their back-to-back matchups in their return from the All-Star break but are still 2nd in the NHL in goals per game (3.76).
Sergachev left Tampa Bay's game Wednesday vs. New York after a glaringly bad lower-body injury in his first game back from injury since December 19th and will now be out indefinitely after undergoing successful tibia and fibula surgery in his left leg. The 25-year-old will return to Tampa Bay to begin his rehab next week and possibly ends his 2023-24 season with only 19 points (2G/17A) in 34 games played.
Sanderson left the Senators' previous contest vs. Detroit on January 31st after just 4:49 TOI due to a lower-body injury and will be out Saturday as Ottawa plays Toronto. The 21-year-old sophomore has taken a step forward across all aspects of his game in his second season and has seven goals, 24 points, 99 SOG, 19 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 47 games prior to his injury.
Boqvist missed the Blue Jackets' previous three games due to an upper-body after taking a puck high but is likely to return Saturday as Columbus takes on Tampa Bay. The 23-year-old has fought injuries all season which has led to an uninspiring no goals, seven assists, 23 SOG, and a -3 plus/minus in 20 games this season.
Ullmark will return to the crease for the first time post-All-Star break in a showdown between the Eastern and Western Conference leaders. The Bruins are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Tuesday but are -132 home favourites against a Vancouver Canucks squad with points in 12 straight (10-0-2). Ullmark last played on January 27th, saving 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%) in a 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Dumba returned to practice on Tuesday and will re-enter the Coyotes' lineup after a three-game absence. The 29-year-old Dumba has been limited to only five points (2G / 3A) in 44 games with the Coyotes this season while playing predominantly on a defensive pair with Travis Dermott.

The California-born netminder is putting together a Vezina-calibre season with a 2.43 GAA, .920 SV%, and five shutouts through 36 games (27-8-1). The Canucks enter Thursday's matchup against the Boston Bruins as +120 road underdogs.
After getting the night off on the back end of a back-to-back on Tuesday, Georgiev will likely return to the crease for the sixth time in the last seven games. Georgiev has been excellent lately, posting a .938 SV% across his last three games (2-0-1) while allowing two or fewer goals in each contest, his first stretch of that calibre since the opening week of the season. That said, the Avalanche are +122 road underdogs on Thursday against a Carolina Hurricanes club that saw their three-game winning streak end with a 3-2 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.
