Carrier (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision Wednesday vs. Los Angeles.

Carrier played only 8:01 time-on-ice before exiting Monday's game against the Ottawa Senators with an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old defender has 44 hits and 92 blocks while averaging 18:09 time-on-ice through 46 games this season. Carrier will be a game-time decision on Wednesday, but don't be surprised if he can't play, as Tyson Barrie has already been confirmed to return to the Predators lineup.

Alexandre Carrier
Rafferty has been recalled from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Rafferty had two goals, 14 assists, six PIMs and a +4 plus/minus in 38 games played with Grand Rapids (AHL), and was called up by the Red Wings last week but served as a healthy scratch. The 28-year-old defenseman last appeared in the NHL in 2020-21 with Vancouver and has an assist in three career NHL games played.

Korpisalo will start Wednesday in Detroit.

Korpisalo was excellent in relief of Mads Sogaard on Monday, saving all 17 shots he faced in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Nashville Predators. Korpisalo has had a forgettable season but has played better lately, allowing three or fewer goals in five of his last six outings (3-1-2), posting a respectable .910 SV%. That said, the Senators are slight -101 road underdogs on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings, winners of two straight, outscoring their opposition 8-2.

Saros is expected to start Wednesday vs. Los Angeles.

Saros returned to the crease after a night off and allowed four goals on 35 shots (.886 SV%) in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators on Monday Night. Despite his last outing, Saros has played well lately, allowing three or fewer goals in six of his last seven games (3-1-1), posting an impressive .922 SV%. The Predators will look to snap a two-game losing skid as slight +103 home underdogs against a Los Angeles Kings team that has lost four straight (0-2-2).

Juuse Saros
Husso (illness) will be out Wednesday vs. Ottawa.

Husso wasn't scheduled to start on Wednesday but will be out of the lineup entirely after coming down with an illness. Husso has not played a game since returning to the lineup last week and will likely continue to be a secondary option between the pipes as long as Alex Lyon continues to give the Red Wings solid goaltending regularly.

Ville Husso
Andersen has been medically cleared to resume on-ice activities.

Andersen was diagnosed with deep-vein thrombosis and subsequent pulmonary embolisms in November. Andersen has resumed off-ice activities without complication and will not begin limited on-ice conditioning. Andersen remains without a timetable to return to the lineup.

Schwartz (undisclosed) will play in San Jose on Tuesday.

Schwartz missed Tuesday's morning skate due to maintenance but is apparently good to go for Tuesday's game vs. San Jose. The 31-year-old has enjoyed a fine season when healthy and is on pace for his most productive season since joining Seattle in 2021-22. He has 10 goals, 11 assists, 10 PIMs, 69 SOG and a -13 plus/minus in 33 games played so far this season.

Jaden Schwartz
Daccord will start in San Jose on Tuesday.

Daccord will man the Kraken crease for his fifth straight start after being the first goalie off the ice Tuesday ahead of a matchup in San Jose. The 27-year-old is one of the season's best stories as he's had a breakout campaign with his 15-8-9 record, 2.36 GAA and .920 SV%. He draws the favourable matchup of the San Jose Sharks, who surprisingly had a three game winning streak snapped by a 5-2 loss to Buffalo last game and are tied for last in the NHL in goals per game (2.08).

Shore has cleared waivers and been reassigned to Coachella Valley (AHL).

Shore has two points (2A) in his previous 15 contests and has cleared waivers Tuesday after being placed on them Monday by Seattle meaning he will appear going forward with Coachella Valley (AHL). The 29-year-old has struggled offensively in his first season in Seattle, with only four points (1G/3A), 15 SOG and four PIMs in only 21 games played.

Devin Shore
Ottawa has placed Rourke Chartier on waivers Tuesday.

Chariter has failed to pick up a point in six straight contest and was placed on waivers Tuesday by the Ottawa Senators. The 27-year-old has struggled for the Senators offensively all season, with only two goals, three points, 14 PIMs and a -3 plus/minus in 34 games played. He is expected to report to Belleville (AHL) if he clears waivers.

Rourke Chartier
MacEachern (shoulder) will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

MacEachern has been out since December 30th due to a right shoulder injury and will undergo surgery which will cause him to miss the remainder of the 2023-24 season. The 29-year-old left-winger was appearing in his first NHL season since 2021-22 and had an assist, four SOG, and a -1 plus/minus while averaging only 7:52 TOI across eight games played.

MacKenzie MacEachern
MacDonald (lower body) will draw back into the Sharks' lineup Tuesday vs. Seattle.

MacDonald hasn't played since December 23rd, 2023 due to a lower-body injury and was activated from the Injured Reserve Monday with expectations to return to the lineup Tuesday vs. Seattle. The 30-year-old Swiss army knife had appeared in 17 games prior to his injury, picking up six goals, seven points, and a -10 plus/minus.

Hertl (undisclosed) will be out Tuesday vs. Seattle.

Hertl left the Sharks' contest Saturday vs. Buffalo after just 16:50 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will not play Tuesday after not practicing Monday. The 30-year-old's injury is not expected to be severe enough to hold him out from representing San Jose at the 2024 NHL All Star games after collecting 15 goals, 34 points, 113 SOG, 22 PIMs and a -26 plus/minus in 48 games prior to his injury.

Tomas Hertl
Merzlikins will start Tuesday in St. Louis.

Columbus will continue to swap their goalies game by game as Merzlikins takes the crease for the second time in three games Tuesday in St. Louis. The 29-year-old made it public knowledge earlier in the season that he would like to be traded but has remained with Columbus and carries a 8-10-7 record, 3.35 GAA and .901 SV%. He takes on the red-hot St. Louis Blues, who have surprisingly won four straight games by the score of 4-3 and are currently on a five game winning streak.
