Dostal was the first goalie off the ice at Thursday's morning skate.

The Ducks will turn to Dostal between the pipes for the fifth time in the last seven games on Thursday. Dostal entered Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks in relief of John Gibson and allowed one goal on five shots (.800 SV%). In the game before that, Dostal allowed six goals on 19 shots (.684 SV%) in a 6-1 loss to the New York Islanders. The Ducks, losers of three straight, enter action as sizeable +245 road underdogs against the Minnesota Wild.

Lukas Dostal
Marino (upper body) will be out on Thursday in Dallas and is considered day-to-day.

Despite playing 24:58 time-on-ice on Monday, his third-highest total of the season, Marino is battling an upper-body injury and will not play in Thursday's game against the Dallas Stars. The 26-year-old defenseman has three points (0G / 3A), three shots, and four hits in his last three games.

John Marino
Allen will make his Devils' debut on Thursday in Dallas.

After being acquired before last week's trade deadline, Allen will make his Devils debut on Thursday night. Allen is currently sporting a .892 SV% and a career-worst 3.65 GAA through 21 games this season (6-12-3). The Devils enter action as +164 road underdogs against a Dallas Stars club that is 5-1-0 in their last six and is coming off a disappointing 4-3 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Jake Allen
Luukkonen is expected to start on Thursday vs. New York.

The Sabres have won two straight and will return to Luukkonen between the pipes on Thursday night. Luukkonen has allowed three or fewer goals in 10 straight (7-2-1), posting a tremendous .924 SV%. The playoffs remain a longshot for the Sabres but the 25-year-old Luukkonen has been a bright spot on an otherwise disappointing season, keeping them within reaching distance of a Wild Card spot. The Sabres enter action as slight -102 home underdogs against the New York Islanders.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen
Wolf will start Thursday vs. the Golden Knights.

Wolf was recalled on Tuesday after Jacob Markstrom was ruled out with a lower-body injury but served as the backup to Dan Vladar. Vladar allowed six goals in a 6-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche before Wolf entered the crease in relief in the third period and saved all three shots he faced. Wolf has been a tremendous prospect for the Flames in the AHL but has yet to see those numbers translate in the NHL, posting a 3.69 GAA and .880 SV% in seven appearances this season (1-3-1).

Dustin Wolf
Bennett (undisclosed) will be out on Thursday in Carolina and is considered day-to-day.

Bennett will not play on Thursday as he is battling an undisclosed injury. The 27-year-old Bennett has two goals in his last two games and 32 points (16G / 16A), 133 shots, and 124 hits in 54 games this season. Jonah Gadjovich will draw back into the Panthers' lineup on Thursday.

Sam Bennett
Bobrovsky will start on Thursday in Carolina.

The Panthers are riding a two-game winning streak and will return to Bobrovsky between the pipes on Thursday night. Bobrovsky has limited the opposition to three or fewer goals in 13 straight games (11-2-0), boasting a sensational .942 SV%. The Panthers enter action as +109 road underdogs against a Carolina Hurricanes club that defeated them 1-0 less than a month ago.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Ingram will start Thursday in Detroit.

After having the night off on Tuesday, Ingram will return to the crease for the Coyotes on Thursday. Ingram allowed six goals on 40 shots (.850 SV%) in his last outing, a 7-4 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, but was excellent last week against the Detroit Red Wings, posting a 28-save shutout in a 4-0 victory. That said, the Coyotes enter action as +139 road underdogs against a Red Wings club amid a six-game losing skid.

Connor Ingram
Johnson is in concussion protocol and is without a timetable to return.

Johnson played only 7:50 time-on-ice before exiting Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks due to a concussion. Before his injury, Johnson played three straight games for the Blackhawks, tallying one assist, 12 penalty minutes and five hits.

Reese Johnson
Vasilevskiy is expected to start Thursday vs. the Rangers.

Tampa Bay will return to Vasilevskiy between the pipes for the sixth straight game on Thursday night. Vasilevskiy had uncharacteristically allowed three or more goals in eight of his last nine (3-5-1) before pitching a 25-save shutout in his last outing, a commanding 7-0 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers. Vasilevskiy and the Lightning are slight -101 home underdogs against a red-hot New York Rangers club.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Calgary has signed Hunter Brzustewicz to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Brzustewicz was the third-round pick of the Calgary Flames in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and has earned himself a three-year, entry-level contract. The 19-year-old is in his second season with the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL and has 85 points (12G / 73A) in 65 games this year.

Hunter Brzustewicz
Fleury will start Thursday vs. the Ducks.

Minnesota has won four of their last five and will turn to Fluery for the third straight game on Thursday. Fleury has looked poised and motivated lately, riding a three-game winning streak, including saving 21 of 22 shots (.955 SV%) in his last outing, a 4-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes. Minnesota enters action as sizeable -281 home favourites against the Anaheim Ducks.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Shesterkin will start on Thursday in Tampa Bay.

The red-hot Rangers, riding a three-game winning streak, will turn to Shesterkin for the second straight game on Thursday. Shesterkin is riding a two-game shutout streak, saving 54 consecutive shots, and has been nearly impenetrable post-All-Star break, boasting a tremendous .951 SV% in 11 games (9-1-1). The Rangers enter action on Thursday as slight -109 road favourites against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Igor Shesterkin
Shattenkirk will be a healthy scratch on Thursday in Montreal.

Parker Wotherspoon will return to the Bruins lineup on Thursday as Shattenkirk will return to being a healthy scratch after playing eight straight games. Shattenkirk has been productive in those eight games, tallying five points (0G / 5A), 11 shots, and 12 hits.

Kevin Shattenkirk
Beecher will draw back into Boston's lineup on Thursday vs. Montreal.

With James van Riemsdyk battling an illness, Beecher will re-enter the Bruins lineup on Thursday. Beecher has played 39 games with Boston this season, tallying seven points (5G / 2A), but has not played with the team since January 13th. Recently, he has been active with the Providence Bruins (AHL), scoring eight points (4G / 4A) in 17 games.

John Beecher
Chrona will start on Thursday vs. Pittsburgh.

With the recent departure of Kaapo Kahkonen in a trade to the New Jersey Devils, Chrona has started the last three games for the Sharks and will return to the crease on Thursday. In his last four games, Chrona allowed seven goals once but has been serviceable otherwise, keeping the opposition to three or fewer goals in the other three contests (1-2-1). That said, the Sharks are sizeable +267 road underdogs despite facing a Pittsburgh Penguins club that has been abysmal lately, being outscored 17-2 during a four-game losing skid.

Magnus Chrona
Jarry will start on Thursday vs. San Jose.

The Penguins will turn to Jarry between the pipes for a third straight game as they attempt to snap a four-game losing skid in which they have been outscored 17-2. Jarry saved 37 of 39 shots (.949 SV%) in his last outing, a 2-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Penguins have lost seven of their last eight (1-6-1) but have a favourable matchup on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks and are -317 home favourites.
