Linus Ullmark is expected to start Tuesday vs. Columbus.

The Bruins' starting goalie carousel continue Tuesday as Linus Ullmark will take the crease vs. Boston after backing up Jeremy Swayman in Boston's previous victory. The 30-year-old is the NHL's reigning Vezina Trophy winner but has come down to earth in 2023-24, with his 11-5-2 record, 2.82 GAA and .916 SV%. He will head to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets, who have lost four of their last five games and are 16th in the NHL in goals per game (3.13).

Justin Holl will draw back into the Red Wings' lineup Tuesday in San Jose.

Holl was a healthy scratch for the Red Wings' last two games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday for Jeff Petry. The 31-year-old Holl signed a three-year, $10.2 million contract in the offseason and has provided no goals, four assists, five SOG, 18 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus in 25 games played this season.

Alex Lyon will start Tuesday in San Jose.

Lyon has struggled since returning from a five-game absence due to an injury but will attempt to get his game in order in a favourable matchup against the San Jose Sharks. Lyon has allowed seven goals on 59 shots (.881 SV%) in his last two games (1-1-0) after posting a .938 SV% in his six games before (4-2-0). The Red Wings, losers of seven of their last nine (2-7-0), are -180 road favourites against a Sharks club that has lost eight straight (0-8-0).

Alex Lyon
Anton Forsberg will start Tuesday in Vancouver.

Forsberg was sensational on New Year's Eve and, as a result, will be rewarded with a second consecutive start in the Senators' first game of the New Year. On Sunday, Forsberg saved 45 of 46 shots (.978 SV%), leading his team to a 5-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres. Forsberg will search for his third straight victory as the Senators are +129 road underdogs against the Vancouver Canucks, who are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers in their last game, five days ago.

Brendan Lemieux will draw back into the Hurricanes' lineup Tuesday vs. the Rangers.

With Jesper Fast (upper body) out indefinitely, Brendan Lemieux will draw back into the Hurricane's lineup for the first time since December 9th. The 27-year-old scrappy left-winger has made brief appearances for Carolina this year as he has two goals, eight SOG, and 33 PIMs while only averaging 7:10 TOI.

Anton Forsberg is in the Senators' starting crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

Forsberg was sensational on New Year's Eve and, as a result, will likely be rewarded with a second consecutive start in the Senators' first game of the New Year.

Martin Jones was in the starter's crease at Tuesday's morning skate.

With Ilya Samsonov being placed on waivers and subsequently being reassigned to the Toronto Marlies over the weekend, Jones has solidified himself as the starting goalie for the Maple Leafs for the time being. The Maple Leafs recalled Dennis Hildeby, who will likely start on the back end of a back-to-back against the Anaheim Ducks tomorrow. Jones will appear between the pipes for the Leafs for the seventh time in the last eight games, posting a 2-3-0 record over the stretch and a serviceable .919 SV%. The Maple Leafs, losers of three straight, are +115 road underdogs against the Los Angeles Kings.

Martin Jones
Kyle Burroughs will draw back into the Sharks' lineup Tuesday vs. Detroit.

Nikita Okhotyuk will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Burroughs to re-enter the lineup for the Sharks. Burroughs has four points (0G / 4A), 85 hits, and 72 blocks in 35 games this season. He is expected to skate with Calen Addison on the third defensive pair.

Kyle Burroughs
Vinni Lettieri (lower body) has been placed on the Injured Reserve.

Lettieri played on 7:04 time-on-ice on Saturday, suffering a lower-body injury, and did not play on Sunday. He has now been placed on IR and will miss at least one week. In 19 games with Minnesota, Lettieri has four points (3G / 1A), 26 shots, and 21 hits.

Vinni Lettieri
Sergei Bobrovsky will start Tuesday in Arizona.

The Panthers will look for their fifth straight win as Bobrovsky will return to the crease after having the night off in their last contest on Saturday. Bobrovsky has been stellar lately, allowing three or fewer goals in five straight games (4-1-0), posting a terrific .927 SV%. The 35-year-old Bobrovsky has not allowed more than four goals since the second game of the season and has a 2.50 GAA and .911 SV% thus far in the 2023-24 campaign. The Panthers are -160 road favourites against the Arizona Coyotes, coming off a 2-0 shutout victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Thatcher Demko will start Tuesday vs. Ottawa.

Demko and Casey DeSmith have split starts over the last six games, but the Canucks will turn back to Demko on Tuesday. The 28-year-old Demko has been stellar for the Canucks all season, highlighted by a current six-game stretch (5-0-1), where he has posted a .916 SV%. The Canucks have not played since December 28th, a 4-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, and should be well rested as -143 home favourites against the Ottawa Senators, who have won three of their last four games (3-1-0).

Thatcher Demko
Kaapo Kahkonen was the first goalie off the ice at San Jose's morning skate.

Kahkonen is winless in his last six appearances but is expected to return to the crease on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. Despite a 0-5-0 record, Kahkonen has allowed three or fewer goals in four of his last five outings and has posted a respectable .923 SV%. That said, the Sharks are +161 home underdogs on Tuesday against the Red Wings, who have lost three of their last four games (1-3-0).

Kaapo Kahkonen
Semyon Varlamov will start Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Varlamov has not started a game since December 20th due in part to dealing with an undisclosed injury but will return to the crease on Tuesday against his former team, the Colorado Avalanche. Varlamov has been serviceable in limited action against his former team, posting a 3.07 GAA and .918 SV% in four games (2-2-0). That said, he has been average between the pipes lately, posting a .897 SV% in his last four outings (1-1-1). The Islanders are +163 road underdogs on Tuesday.
