Jones has been loaned to Rochester (AHL).

Jones failed to appear in a game during his recent call up to the Sabres and has been returned on loan to the Rochester Americans (AHL). The 25-year-old is having an incredibly succesful run in the minors so far this season, with two goals and 30 points in 27 games played.

Zac Jones
Klingberg (lower-body) will be out on Saturday but has a chance to return on Sunday vs. Vegas.

Klingberg alternated in and out of drills at practice on Friday, but he will remain out of the lineup when the Sharks return to the ice on Saturday. He has already missed 12 games this season. The 33-year-old Klingberg is averaging 21:37 time-on-ice and has 16 points (9G / 7A) in 31 games.

John Klingberg
Merzlikins will start in Colorado on Saturday.

Merzlikins has not played since December 20th, but will return to the crease on Saturday in a challenging contest against the league-leading Colorado Avalanche. The 31-year-old Latvian goalie started the season in a rotation with Jet Greaves, but poor play quickly made the coaching staff lose trust in him. Merzlikins has an abysmal 4.54 GAA and .839 SV% in his last eight games (2-5-1).

Elvis Merzlikins
Misa is expected to stay with the Sharks for the remainder of the season.

Misa made his NHL debut earlier this season but was used sparingly before suffering an injury, totaling only three points (1G / 2A) in seven games. The 18-year-old second-overall pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft scored seven points (2G / 5A) in seven games with Team Canada at the U-20 World Junior Championships and hopes his bronze-medal success at the tournament can help him build some confidence at the NHL level.

Michael Misa
Konecny (upper-body) will be a game-time decision vs. Tampa Bay on Saturday.

Konecny only played the first two periods of Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, exiting the game with an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old Konecny has yet to miss a game this season, and his status for Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning is up in the air. Konecny has 28 points (14G / 24A) in 42 games this season.

Travis Konecny
Kuemper was the first goalie off at Friday's morning skate.

Kuemper has been excellent all season for the Kings, but has battled some adversity lately, allowing four or more goals in three of his last four games (2-1-1). Still, the 35-year-old veteran goalie sports a solid 2.38 GAA and .910 SV% through 27 games this season (12-7-7). The Kings enter Friday's contest as -125 road favorites against a Winnipeg Jets team that lost 4-3 last night to the Edmonton Oilers, adding to their terrible 3-13-5 run.

Darcy Kuemper
Chychrun (undisclosed) left practice early on Thursday but is expected to play on Friday.

Justin Sourdif collided with teammate Jakob Chychrun at practice on Thursday and did not return, but both are expected to play on Friday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 27-year-old Chychrun is having a terrific season from Washington's blueline, scoring 32 points (15G / 17A) in 44 games.

Jakob Chychrun
Sourdif (undisclosed) left practice early on Thursday but is expected to play on Friday.

Justin Sourdif collided with teammate Jakob Chychrun at practice on Thursday and did not return, but both are expected to play on Friday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 23-year-old Sourdif has nine points (5G / 4A) in his last five games and is one game removed from a career-high five-point performance (3G / 2).

Justin Sourdif
Smith (undisclosed) skated in a non-contact jersey at practice on Friday.

Smith has not played in nearly a month and was back at practice, albeit in a non-contact jersey, for the first time since suffering his injury. He still needs to be approved for contact so it's unclear when he might return to the lineup, but his presence is an encouraging sign nonetheless. The 20-year-old second-year player has 29 points (12G / 17A) in 33 games this season.

Will Smith
Soderblom (illness) is questionable vs. Washington on Friday.

Spencer Knight was already confirmed for Friday's game against the Washington Capitals, but his backup goalie remains uncertain as Soderblom is battling an illness. Drew Commesso has been recalled from Rockford (AHL) to serve as Knight's backup on Friday if Soderblom is unable to dress.

Arvid Soderblom
Hofer will start vs. Utah on Friday.

Jordan Binnington was perforated seven times in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, leading the Blues to revert to Hofer for Friday's game against the Utah Mammoth. The 25-year-old Hofer has been excellent lately, giving his team a chance on most nights, posting a tremendous 1.95 GAA and .927 SV% in his last 12 games (7-5-0). The Blues enter the action on Friday as +156 road underdogs against a Mammoth team that has won three of their last four games (3-1-0).

Joel Hofer
Lindbom has been recalled from Henderson (AHL).

Carter Hart suffered a lower-body injury yesterday and Adin Hill (lower body) is nearing a return, but is not ready yet, resulting in Vegas recalling Lindbom from Henderson (AHL). The 22-year-old Lindbom appeared in seven games for Vegas earlier this season (1-4-2), posting a 3.14 GAA and .870 SV%. He has been terrific at the AHL level this season, posting a 2.08 GAA and .926 SV% in 12 games with Henderson (6-3-3).

Carl Lindbom
Hill (lower-body) returned to practice on Friday.

Hill has not played since exiting a game on October 20th, midway through the first period, because of a lower-body injury. Few details have been provided regarding Hill's injury, but he was a full participant at practice on Thursday and appears to be nearing a return. With Carter Hart (lower-body) suffering an injury yesterday, Hill's impending return to the lineup couldn't come at a better time for the Golden Knights. Hill has a 2.55 GAA and .909 SV% in 117 games (68-32-10) with the Golden Knights, dating back to the 2022-23 season.

Adin Hill
McIlrath will be a healthy scratch in Chicago on Friday.

Declan Chisholm will draw back into Washington's lineup on Friday against the Chicago Blackhawks, sending McIlrath back to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 33-year-old McIlrath has played only seven games this season but has played more recently, drawing into three of Washington's last six games.
