Markstrom will start against the Kraken on Wednesday.

Markstrom is coming off a solid outing, saving 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%) in a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild and will return to the crease on Wednesday, looking to record consecutive victories for the first time in over six weeks. The 35-year-old Markstrom has been mostly inconsistent this season, posting a 3.41 GAA and .879 SV% in 23 games (11-10-1). Still, the Devils enter Wednesday's contest as -136 home favorites against a Seattle Kraken team that is coming off a 4-2 win over the New York Rangers.

Jacob Markstrom
Grubauer will start in New Jersey on Wednesday.

The Kraken will understandably ride the hot-hand and stick with Grubauer between the pipes when they travel to New Jersey on Wednesday. Grubauer turned in another superb performance on Monday, turning away 20 of the 22 shots he faced in a 4-2 victory in New York. The 34-year-old netminder is in the best form of his Kraken career, posting a 9-3-2 record and a league-leading .924 SV% across 16 appearances. The Kraken enter action on Wednesday at +125 on the money line.

Philipp Grubauer
Merilainen will start Wednesday in New York.

Even on the tail-end of a back-to-back, the Sens opt against giving James Reimer his team debut and instead will hand Merilainen his second start in as many nights. Merilainen was sharp in Tuesday's win over the Canucks, stopping 19 of the 20 shots he faced enroute to the 2-1 victory. The 23-year-old netminder has been inconsistent at best when called upon this season, posting a 7-10-0 record and an .870 SV% across 18 appearances. The Senators enter action on Wednesday at -115 on the money line.

Leevi Merilainen
Dries has been reassigned to Grand Rapids (AHL).

Dries last appeared in the NHL in 2022-23 with Vancouver and earned his first call up with Detroit last week, but did not draw into the lineup and will return to Grand Rapids (AHL). The 31-year-old veteran forward has been enjoying a successful run with Grand Rapids to start this season, with 11 goals, 25 points and 16 PIMs in 26 games played.

Sheldon Dries
Kuemper will start vs. Vegas on Wednesday.

Kuemper has been the reliable backbone of the Kings since joining the team last season, but he finds himself on a three-game losing streak (0-2-1), posting an uncharacteristic 3.72 GAA and .820 SV%. Kuemper will return to the crease on Wednesday, with the Kings hoping the 35-year-old goalie can return to the form he had before his recent downward trend, where he has a solid 2.04 GAA and .923 SV% in nine games (4-4-1). The Kings enter Wednesday's contest as +109 home underdogs against the Vegas Golden Knights, who have outscored their opponents 20-10 in their last four games (4-0-0).

Darcy Kuemper
Moverare will draw back into Los Angeles’ lineup vs. Vegas on Wednesday.

Moverare has played two of the last four games for the Kings and will re-enter the lineup on Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 27-year-old defenseman played a career-high 49 games with the Kings last season, but has been limited to only 10 so far in 2025-26.

Jacob Moverare
Perry (personal) is out vs. Vegas on Wednesday.

Perry missed a game last week for personal reasons and will miss another on Wednesday. The 40-year-old Perry is having a great season in Los Angeles, with 23 points (10G / 13A) in 37 games. He's been extra productive lately, with eight points (3G / 5A) in his last seven games.

Corey Perry
Kuemper was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles’ morning skate.

Kuemper has been the reliable backbone of the Kings since joining the team last season, but he finds himself on a three-game losing streak (0-2-1), posting an uncharacteristic 3.72 GAA and .820 SV%. Kuemper will likely return to the crease on Wednesday, with the Kings hoping the 35-year-old goalie can return to the form he had before his recent downward trend, where he has a solid 2.04 GAA and .923 SV% in nine games (4-4-1). The Kings enter Wednesday's contest as +109 home underdogs against the Vegas Golden Knights, who have outscored their opponents 20-10 in their last four games (4-0-0).

Darcy Kuemper
Miller (lower-body) is considered week-to-week.

Miller exited Sunday's 4-3 win over the New Jersey Devils late in the first period because of a lower-body injury and he has subsequently been placed on Injured Reserve. The 33-year-old defenseman is averaging 13:45 time-on-ice and has one assist in 15 games this season. Winnipeg recalled Phillips from Manitoba (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Colin Miller
Pionk (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week.

Pionk showed no signs of an ailment in yesterday's 5-4 win over the New York Islanders, recording an assist in 20:21 time-on-ice, but will be out of the lineup on a week-to-week basis. The 30-year-old defenseman is averaging 22:47 time-on-ice and has eight points (2G / 6A) in 40 games this season.

Neal Pionk
Teravainen (upper-body) is out vs. Calgary on Thursday and is considered day-to-day.

Teravainen exited Monday's 4-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers late in the first period after only 5:27 time-on-ice because of an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old Finnish forward has 21 points (9G / 12A) in 45 games this season, but has struggled lately, scoring just four points (3G / 1A) in his last 20 games.

Teuvo Teravainen
Smith (upper-body) was a full participant in Wednesday’s meeting practice but will not return vs. Washington on Thursday.

Smith has not played in nearly a month and has finally been cleared for contact, practicing in a full capacity on Wednesday, but he will miss at least one more game. The 20-year-old second-year player has 29 points (12G / 17A) in 33 games this season.

Will Smith
Trent Miner has been reassigned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).

With Mackenzie Blackwood and Scott Wedgewood both battling through some ailments, Miner played two games for Colorado, including recording his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old goalie has a 2.03 GAA and .923 SV% in four games with the Avalanche this season (1-0-3).

Trent Miner
Chychrun (illness) is a possibility to return vs. San Jose on Thursday.

Chychrun was a late scratch on Sunday due to an illness and did not play on Tuesday, but could return to the lineup on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. The 27-year-old Chychrun scored a career-high 20 goals last season and is pacing to top that in 2025-26, with 15 goals through 45 games.
