Zamula will make his Blue Jackets' debut in Vegas on Thursday.

Pittsburgh recently acquired Zamula in a trade, but he failed to report to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL), leading the team to place him on waivers and terminate his contract. He since signed a one-year contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets and will make his team debut on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 25-year-old defenseman averaged 14:02 time-on-ice and recorded one assist in 13 games with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Parekh is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Parekh started the season in the NHL but struggled to acclimate before an injury sidelined him for a lengthy period. He was then sent to play for Team Canada at the U-20 World Junior Championship, where he excelled with 13 points (5G / 8A) in seven games. The Flames hope his bronze-medal success can give the 19-year-old some confidence whenever he returns from his injury.

Zayne Parekh
Eberle (undisclosed) is a game-time decision vs. Minnesota on Thursday

The Kraken could be without one of their top offensive contributors in recent weeks, as Eberle was absent from the team's morning skate on Thursday. The 35-year-old veteran forward has turned back the clock lately, with 14 points (7G / 7A) in his last 17 games.

Jordan Eberle
Terry (upper-body) is out vs. Carolina on Thursday and is considered day-to-day.

Terry is coming off a two assist performance and has been on fire lately, but will not play on Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 28-year-old forward is pacing for a career best, with 42 points (13G / 29A) through 43 games. He has seven points (3G / 4A) in his last five games.

Troy Terry
Fisker-Molgaard has been recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL).

Fisker-Molgaard was drafted 52nd overall by the Kraken in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut earlier this season, scoring one assist in two games. The 20-year-old forward has 18 points (6G / 12A) in 30 games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season.

Oscar Fisker-Molgaard
Lankinen will start in Detroit on Thursday.

Lankinen has strung together a solid three-game stretch (2-0-1), posting a 2.95 GAA and .913 SV%, and will return to the crease on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. That said, the 30-year-old Finnish goalie has largely struggled this season, with an unfavorable 3.37 GAA and .884 SV% in 20 games (6-10-4). The Canucks enter the action on Thursday as +136 road underdogs against the Red Wings, who defeated them 4-0 last month.

Kevin Lankinen
Toews (upper-body) remains week-to-week but is expected back before the Olympics.

Toews briefly exited Saturday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes because of an upper-body injury, but returned to the game late in the third period. However, he did not play on Sunday and has been sidelined since, with a return in two weeks being the "best case" scenario. The 31-year-old Toews is averaging 22:20 time-on-ice and has 13 points (1G / 2A) in 40 games this season.

Devon Toews
Landeskog (upper-body) is week-to-week with his return expected close to the Olympic break.

Landeskog collided with the opposing goal post in Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers and needed assistance being helped off the ice. The Avalanche faithful breathed a sigh of relief when the team revealed the injury was to his upper-body, not his knees, which had previously sidelined him for nearly three seasons. The 33-year-old Landeskog has 22 points (7G / 15A) in 41 games this season and has started to show signs of his old self, with 15 points (5G / 10A) in his last 19 games.

Gabriel Landeskog
Blackwood (lower-body) returned to the ice on Thursday but is still considered week-to-week.

Blackwood has not played since New Year's Eve due to a lower-body injury and is still week-to-week. Trent Miner was recalled from the Eagles (AHL) in Blackwood's absence, but Scott Wedgewood has played every game since and should continue to have a heavy workload until Blackwood returns from injury.

Mackenzie Blackwood
Moore (upper-body) has been placed on IR.

Moore has not played in nearly two weeks due to an upper-body injury and has been placed on Injured Reserve. The 30-year-old California-born forward has 13 points (5G / 8A) in 37 games this season, a significant decline after averaging over 43 points in his previous four campaigns.

Trevor Moore
Wedgewood will start vs. Ottawa on Thursday.

After a remarkable 31-2-7 start to the season, the Avalanche, for the first time, have gone two games without a point (0-2-0), and hope for a strong performance from Wedgewood to help end their mini-slump. The 33-year-old Wedgewood has been excellent all season, but has shown signs of being human over the past two weeks, allowing three or more goals in four of five games (2-2-0), posting a .876 SV%. He has a 2.20 GAA and .917 SV% in 27 games this season (18-3-4). The Avalanche enter Tuesday's contest as sizable -257 home favorites against an Ottawa Senators team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-4-1).

Scott Wedgewood
Rittich will start in Nashville on Thursday.

Ilya Sorokin returned from a two-week absence due to an injury in the Islanders' most recent game, recording a shutout in a 9-0 win over the New Jersey Devils, but the team will turn to Rittich on Thursday against the Nashville Predators. The 33-year-old Rittich has been excellent over the last two months, posting a solid 2.25 GAA and .916 SV% in 13 games (8-3-2). The Islanders enter the action on Thursday as slight +108 road underdogs against a Predators team coming off a 6-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
