Dobes will start vs. Winnipeg on Wednesday.

The Canadiens have lost seven of their last 10 (3-6-1) and will turn to Dobes on Wednesday against the Winnipeg Jets. After a sensational first month of the season, posting a stellar 1.97 GAA and .930 SV% in six games (6-0-0), Dobes has fallen off significantly, ending November with an ugly 4.42 GAA and .849 SV% in seven games (2-3-2). The Canadiens hope to change their fortunes on Wednesday, entering the action as +105 home underdogs against a struggling Jets team that has lost five of its last six (1-5-0).

Jakub Dobes
Doughty (lower-body) is hopeful to return this week vs. Chicago on either Wednesday or Saturday.

Doughty was listed week-to-week after suffering a lower-body injury on November 15th, but could make a surprising return to action by this weekend. The 35-year-old Doughty has eight points (2G / 6A) through 19 games this season, respectable totals given that the Kings' have mostly been rolling a five-forward top powerplay unit.

Drew Doughty
Foegele (upper-body) is hopeful to return vs. Chicago on Thursday.

Foegele is battling an undisclosed injury and has not played the Kings' last two games, but could return to the lineup as soon as Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 29-year-old Foegele had a career-high 46 points (24G / 22A) in 82 games last season, but is off to a slow start in 2025-26 with only four points (4G / 0A) through 18 games.

Warren Foegele
Lamoureux will make his season debut on Wednesday vs. Anaheim.

Lamoureux was drafted 29th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut with Utah last season, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in 15 games. He has nine points (0G / 9A) in 19 games with the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) this season. He draws into the lineup in favor of Nick DeSimone.

Maveric Lamoureux
Tanev is expected to be a healthy scratch in Anaheim on Wednesday.

Utah is battling through a four-game losing skid and will switch things up on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks, with Barrett Hayton and Brandon Tanev coming out of the lineup. The 34-year-old Tanev has remained an effective agitator with 69 hits this season, but is pacing for the worst offensive totals of his career, with only one point (0G / 1A) through 27 games.

Brandon Tanev
Hayton will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday in Anaheim.

Utah is battling through a four-game losing skid and will switch things up on Wednesday against the Anaheim Ducks, with Barrett Hayton and Brandon Tanev coming out of the lineup. The 25-year-old Hayton has seen prime offensive deployment lately, including some reps on the team's top powerplay unit, but still only has five points (3G / 2A) in 24 games this season.

Barrett Hayton
Vejmelka was the first goalie off the ice at Utah's morning skate.

Only 24 games into the regular season, the Mammoth find themselves on a four-game losing skid for the second time. The team has failed to receive consistent goaltending, as evident from Vejmelka's 2.87 GAA and .882 SV% through 20 games (10-7-2). The 29-year-old Czech goalie has a .822 SV% in his last three appearances (0-2-0). Still, the Mammoth enters Wednesday's contest with even -105 odds against an Anaheim Ducks team that defeated them 3-2 earlier this month.

Karel Vejmelka
Marchment (undisclosed) will not travel with Seattle to Edmonton.

Marchment did not practice on Tuesday, originally questionable for Thursday's game against the Edmonton Oilers, but will not travel with the team. Marchment has been more productive lately for the Kraken and will be a big loss for a team that struggles generating offense. The 30-year-old Marchment has six points (1G / 5A) in his last eight games and 11 points (2G / 9A) in 23 outings this season.

Mason Marchment
Comrie is expected to start in Montreal on Wednesday.

Since Connor Hellebuyck (knee) has been sidelined, Comrie has not been able to fill the void of the Vezina-winning netminder, posting an ugly 3.20 GAA and .877 SV% in five games (1-4-0). Before Hellebuyck's injury, Comrie was excellent as his backup, posting a 2.60 GAA and .908 SV% in five outings (4-1-0). Comrie returns to the crease on Wednesday, with the Jets entering action as -117 road favorites against a Montreal Canadiens team that has been outscored 12-4 in their last two games (0-2-0).

Eric Comrie
Rooney has cleared waivers and been assigned to Tucson (AHL).

Rooney, an NHL veteran of 331 games, scored a goal in his only game with Utah this season, but has been demoted to the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) after clearing waivers on Wednesday. Maveric Lamoureux was recalled from Tucson in a corresponding move.

Lamoureux was drafted 29th overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut with Utah last season, scoring three points (1G / 2A) in 15 games. Mrazek (lower-body) is expected to miss the next two to three weeks.

Mrazek suffered a lower-body injury over the weekend and has been sidelined since. With Luka Dostal (lower body) already sidelined, the Ducks' crease currently belongs to Ville Husso. The 33-year-old Mrazek has battled injuries over his career, but is not expected be miss extensive time due to his current ailment.

Petr Mrazek
Husso will start vs. Utah on Wednesday.

Injuries to Lukas Dostal (lower body) and Petr Mrazek (lower body) have allowed Husso the opportunity for NHL action, which he has seized so far. The 30-year-old Husso was excellent in Monday's 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues, saving 21 of 22 shots (.955 SV%). Husso has shown glimpses of excellence in his 148-game NHL career, but has lacked consistency, ultimately leading to his demotion to the AHL over the past few seasons. The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest with even -105 odds against a Utah Mammoth team on a four-game losing skid.

Ville Husso
Misa has been placed on LTIR but loaned to the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Misa has battled some injuries earlier in his career and has been sidelined since November 1st. Injuries aside, the Sharks have been easing the 18-year-old Misa into gameplay this season, limited to only seven games, scoring three points (1G / 2A). He should see an increase in playing time during a loan with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL).

Michael Misa
Iorio will draw back into San Jose's lineup vs. Washington on Wednesday.

Shakir Mukhamadullin will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Washington Capitals, allowing Iorio to re-enter the lineup. Iorio was recently sent to the AHL for a conditioning loan, where has has seven points (0G / 7A) in six games with the San Jose Barracuda. The 23-year-old defenseman was drafted 55th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft and is still working on becoming a full-time NHLer with the Sharks.

Vincent Iorio
Askarov will start vs. Washington on Wednesday.

After a sluggish (0-4-2) start to the season, the Sharks are flirting with playoff contention a third of the way through the season, largely credited to strong netminding from Askarov. The 23-year-old rookie netminder has an outstanding 65 percent quality start rate, posting a 2.96 GAA and .908 SV% in 17 games (10-6-1). The Sharks enter Wednesday's contest as +133 home underdogs against a Washington Capitals team that played last night, defeating the Los Angeles Kings 3-1.

Yaroslav Askarov
Rasmussen (upper-body) practiced on Wednesday and is fully healthy after leaving Tuesday's game early.

Rasmussen was limited to only 9:22 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Boston Bruins, leaving the game with an upper-body injury. The 26-year-old forward had three points (2G / 1A) in his last three and should be ready when the Red Wings return to action on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
