Arizona has decided to go back to their convention 12 forward, six defensemen system and Josh Brown will be the odd man out Saturday vs. Winnipeg due to that. The 29-year-old defensemen has a goal, two SOG, four PIMs and a +1 plus/minus in five games played but will unfortunately head to the press box Saturday.

Boyd was a healthy scratch for the Coyotes previous game but will draw back into the lineup Saturday asa. replacement for Josh Brown. The 30-year-old veteran centre has been productive despite his limited minutes (10:23 TOI/GP) as he has three assists, seven SOG and a +2 plus/minus in five games played.

Yvonne has a goal, seven SOG, two PIMs and a -1 plus/minus in eight games with Montreal but will be a healthy scratch Saturday as Michael Pezzetta returns to the lineup. The 24-year-old right winger is in his four NHL season and will hope to be back in the lineup if he hopes to surpass his 37 games played from 2022-23.

Pezzetta was a healthy scratch for the Canadiens' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Saturday St. Louis. The 25-year-old grinder has an assist, six SOG, and 10 PIMs in seven games so far this season and will replace Jesse Ylonen in Montreal's lineup.

Chinakhov missed the Blue Jackets first six games of the season due to a back strain and was sent to Cleveland (AHL) for a conditioning stint but will make his season debut Saturday vs. Washington. The 22-year-old right winger will be looking to build off his sophomore campaign, which saw him score four goals, nine assists, 44 SOG, 10 PIMs and a -6 plus/minus in 30 games in 2022-23.

Merrill has two assists, seven SOG and six PIMs in 10 games played this season but will be the odd man out of the Wilds' lineup for the first time Saturday vs. the New York Rangers. The 31-year-old is in his 11th NHL season but will take a seat as Daemon Hunt rejoins the Wild lineup.

Woodrow will miss Saturday's matchup vs. Minnesota as he left the team due to the birth of his child and should be back for the Rangers game Tuesday. The 30-year-old has struggled so far in 2023-24, with no goals, one assist, four SOG, and 12 PIMs through 10 games played.

Tucker was a healthy scratch in two of his last three games and will sit in the press box once again on Friday, allowing Robert Bortuzzo to draw back into the Blues' lineup. In six games this season, Tucker registered one point (1G / 0A), six blocks, and nine hits while averaging 12:35 time-on-ice.

Tyler Tucker will be a healthy scratch on Friday, allowing Robert Bortuzzo to return to the Blues' lineup. Bortuzzo has only played two games this season, registering seven penalty minutes and zero points while averaging 9:38 time-on-ice.

Hunt will return to the lineup for the Wild on Saturday after being a healthy scratch on Thursday. The 65th overall pick of the Wild in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft has been held without a point in two games this season, averaging only 4:53 time-on-ice.

Bryson will sit in the press box as a healthy scratch on Friday to make room for Connor Clifton, who will return to the Sabres lineup after serving a two-game suspension. During those two games, Bryson registered a -1 plus/minus, four blocks, and two hits while averaging 10:56 time-on-ice.

Jost has played seven games for the Sabres, recording two points (1G / 1A), but is expected to be a healthy scratch on Friday night. The Sabres will welcome Lukas Rousek into the lineup for his season debut.

With Zach Benson (lower-body) being placed on the injured reserve and Tyson Jost being a healthy scratch on Friday, Rousek is expected to make his season debut. In eight games with the Rochester Americans (AHL) this season, Rousek has six points (2G / 4A).

Clifton was suspended for two games for an illegal check to the head of Nico Hiscier on October 27th. Clifton skated alongside Erik Johnson on the third pair in Thursday's practice, indicating that he'll be back in the lineup on Friday vs. the Flyers. Prior to the suspension, Clifton had one assist, a minus-6 rating, 12 SOG and 23 hits in eight games.
