Strome was a healthy scratch in the first game of the season, but will replace Christian Dvorak in Tuesday’s lineup in Ottawa. Strome was the third overall pick in 2015. He oozes with offensive talent and comes into 2016-17 having put up 111 points (37G / 74A) in 56 games with Erie (OHL) last year.
Lyubimov sat as a heathy scratch for the first two games of the season, but will make his NHL debut tonight. Lyubimov will skate on the Flyers’ fourth line. He had 14 points (7G / 7A) in 52 games with CSKA Moscow (KHL) last year.
Cousins has registered two assists and two shots on goal in the first two games of the season, but will be replaced by Roman Lyubimov in the lineup tonight.
Slepyshev was a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace Jesse Puljujarvi in the lineup tonight. Slepyshev will skate on a line with Leon Draisaitl and Patrick Maroon.
Puljujarvi has one goal and five shots while averaging 10:51 TOI in the first three games of his NHL career. Puljujarvi will be replaced by Anton Slepyshev tonight.
Flynn was a healthy scratch for the first two games of the season, but will replace Daniel Carr in the lineup on Tuesday. Flynn had 10 points (4G / 6A) in 56 games with the Canadiens last season. Flynn will skate on the fourth line with Torey Mitchell and Philip Danault.
Sanford appeared in his first two NHL games to start the season, but he will be replaced by Brett Conolly in the lineup tonight. Sanford had no points with one shots and two penalty minutes in the first two games.
Connolly, 24, signed with the Capitals this offseason but was a healthy scratch in the first two games of the regular season. Tonight, Connolly will replace Zach Sanford on the Capitals’ third line with Lars Eller and Justin Williams. He had 25 points (9G / 16A) in 71 games with the Bruins last year.
Stuart had one shot on goal with two blocked shots in 11:02 on Saturday. Tonight he will be a healthy scratch for the second time in three games and will be replaced by Ben Chiarot.
Chiarot played 15:08 in the season opener but was a healthy scratch on Saturday. Tonight he will replace Mark Stuart in the lineup and will be paired with Paul Postma.
McIlrath was a healthy scratch in the first two games of the season, but with Daniel Girardi out of the lineup with a groin injury, McIlrath will step in. The 24-year-old had two goals and two assists (four points) in 34 games last year.
Beauvillier had one assist in 10:52 in his NHL debut on Thursday, but was a healthy scratch in last night’s game vs. the Capitals. With Shane Prince getting injured and going on IR, Beauvillier will re-enter the lineup on Sunday.
Quine sat out of the first two games of the season but will replace Mathew Barzal in the lineup on Sunday. Quine has one goal in two career NHL games and had 48 points (19G / 29A) in 56 AHL games last season.
Barzal played 10:10 during his NHL debut on Saturday, but he will come out of the lineup in favour of Alan Quine on Sunday.
Kulak, 22, sat out of the first two games of the season, but will be in the lineup for Dennis Wideman on Saturday. Kulak had 17 points (3G / 14A) in 59 games with Stockton (AHL) a season ago. He has no points in nine career NHL games.
WIdeman had one goal and six shots while averaging 19:56 though the first two games of the season. There is no word on if Wideman is battling an injury or if he is a healthy scratch, but he will come out of the lineup regardless. Brett Kulak will take his spot in the lineup.
Simon Despres is sidelined with an upper-body injury, so Holzer will make his season debut. Holzer had just three assists in 29 games last year.
Chiarot was a minus-1 in 15:08 during the Jets’ season opener on Thursday. Chiarot will be replaced by Mark Stuart on Saturday.
Armia had just one shot on goal in 10:38 in the Jets’ season opener on Thursday. Armia will be replaced be Chris Thorburn on the fourth line.
