Tarasov got the call-up after it was announced Wednesday that Elvis Merzlikin would be day-to-day with an undisclosed injury. Tarasov was previously up with the Blue Jackets and struggled with a 1-3-0 record along with his 3.57 GAA and .893 SV%.

Kinkaid was merely a spot filler until Jeremy Swayman recovered from an injury and with the announcement that he has rejoined the Bruins, Kinkaid was the odd man out and assigned to Providence (AHL) Wednesday.

He last played in the NHL in 2016-17 where he played in eight games and failed to pick up his first career victory.

Pitlick has been summoned from Laval of the AHL for his second stint with the Montreal Canadiens for the 2022-23 season. In three games with Laval prior to his promotion, he had three assists and eight PIMs with a +1 plus/minus rating. In seven games with Montreal earlier in the year he was held pointless.

Blidh has been called up for the second time this season from the Colorado Eagles (AHL) after putting up four goals and 24 PIMs across 12 games. He has only played one game so far with the Avalanche and only saw nine shifts and 6:03 TOI.

Helleson was recalled from San Diego (AHL) after putting up a goal and two points along with 16 PIMs and a -5 plus/minus across 13 games. The 21-year-old is a 2nd round pick (47th overall) from 2019 and has yet to appear in an NHL game.

Simmonds will head back down to the Toronto Marlies (AHL) after Matt Murray was activated off the injured reserve Tuesday. In four games prior to his demotion, the 15-year-veteran had one assist and three SOG while only averaging 7:29 TOI per game.

Sheehan will make his season debut Tuesday after being recalled from Rochester of the AHL. In six games with the Sabres' minor-league affiliate, the 31-year-old veteran has three assists and is a +3 plus/minus prior to his call-up. He currently sits on 194 points (74G/120A) through 635 career NHL games played.

The 27-year-old will head back to the Wranglers (AHL) after a four-game stint with the Flames where he failed to pick up a point but posted a -4 plus/minus with four SOG while averaging 11:15 ATOI prior to his demotion.

This will be Gilbert's second spell with the Flames after getting a short two-game showing earlier in the year where he picked up zero points and five PIMs. Through eight games with the Wranglers (AHL) he had yet to pick up a point but was a -2 plus/minus prior to his promotion.

Lajoie will return to Chicago (AHL) after getting a one-game showing against Chicago where he picked up one shot across 17 shifts and 13:51 TOI. He returns to Chicago where he had four assists in his first 10 games prior to the call-up and send-down.

Lockwood was called up after it was announced Tuesday that Jack Studnicka would be heading to the injured reserve (undisclosed). Lockwood has impressed with Abbotsford (AHL) scoring five goals and seven points with a +2 plus/minus through his first 10 games prior to his promotion.

Cicek will replace the injured defenseman Radek Simek who was placed on injured reserve Monday. In 10 games with San Jose of the AHL, Cicek has yet to pick up a point but has 10 PIMs and is a -4 plus/minus. He will make his NHL debut if he draws into the Sharks lineup whenever that may be.

Cramarossa scored a goal off one SOG through four games with Minnesota prior to being sent down to Iowa (AHL) on Monday. The 30-year-old will hope for another call up so that he can add to his 68 career NHL games played.

Holmberg will be recalled for a second time this season after getting a small cup of coffee with the Maple Leafs earlier in the season, playing one game where he collected two shots over 10:01 TOI. The 23-year-old has a goal and four assists with Toronto (AHL) prior to his call up to the Leafs.

Hollowell has been enjoying a great start to his season with the Marlies of the AHL, collecting nine assists and a +2 plus/minus through nine games. He has yet to make his NHL debut so if he finds himself in the Maple Leafs' lineup in the upcoming days he will knock that milestone off his bucket list.

Lacynski will be sent down to Lehigh Valley (AHL) after posting only two assists and six SOG in his first 12 games this season with the Flyers. The 25-year-old struggled to catch on this season due to his low ATOI (9:51) and ineffectiveness to get pucks on net but will hope with some good play in the minors will be back up to add to his 18 career NHL GP.

Willman has been recalled form Lehigh Valley after posting two goals and two assists in his first 11 games along with 10 PIMs. The 27-year-old center has previously played 41 games in the NHL posting four goals and six points alongside a -13 plus/minus rating.
