Ericsson missed the first nine games of the season with an upper-body injury and cleared waivers on Wednesday afternoon. The long-time Red Wing will be replaced by Alex Biega on the roster.

Not to be confused with this summer’s No.2 overall pick Kaapo Kakko, Kahkonen was a fourth-round pick in 2014. The 23-year-old netminder has gone 4-0-0 with a 2.95 GAA and .886 SV% in four AHL games this season. He is expected to serve as Alex Stalock’s backup on Thursday because Devan Dubnyk was banged up in Tuesday’s win.

Hague had two assists in seven games during his call-up but Jake Bischoff has recently taken his spot on the third pair. Hague returns to the AHL, where he had 13 goals and 19 assists (32 points) in 75 games last year.

Brown was the No.11 overall pick in 2016 and he is off to a blistering start in the AHL this season. The 21-year-old centre is tied for the team-lead with seven points (3G / 4A) in five games and is expected to make his season debut vs. the Red Wings. Brown has just one assist in six career NHL games.

Biega appeared in two games with the Red Wings during his call-up but was a healthy scratch on Friday. Biega is expected to make his Grand Rapids Griffins debut on Wednesday.

Svechnikov has scored one goal with three assists (four points) in three games with the Griffins this season. He has been called-up once already but has not made his season debut with the Red Wings. With Adam Erne out, there's a hole in the Red Wings' middle-6 but it's unclear whether or not Svechnikov will fill it on Tuesday. He has four points (2G / 2A) in 16 career NHL games.

Quine made his season debut on Sunday with Sam Bennett and Andrew Mangiapane out, but Mangiapane will play Tuesday so Quine heads back to the AHL. The 26-year-old forward has one goal and four assists (five points) in four games with the Heat.

Kylington was sent down on Sunday, simply because the Flames needed a forward with Sam Bennett and Andrew Mangiapane out. With Mangiapane back tonight, Alan Quine heads back to the AHL and Kylington returns to the Flames, where he will likely serve as a healthy scratch.

Bjork has enjoyed a great start to 2019-20, leading Providence and tied for fourth line league scoring with eight points (3G / 5A) in seven games. Bjork will likely draw into the Bruins lineup vs. Toronto and comes up with five goals and 10 assists (15 points) in 50 career NHL games.

Trenin made his NHL debut on Saturday but was returned to Milwaukee on Sunday, suggesting that one or both of Rocco Grimaldi and Filip Forsberg will be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Trenin has four goals and one assist in three AHL games this season.

When Jordan Szwarz was sent back to Belleville, it pointed towards Artem Anisimov being ready for Monday's game, but Beaudin's recall suggests otherwise. The 22-year-old centre has no points in two AHL games this season and just nine goals and 14 assists (23 points) 98 career AHL games.

Vorobyov has two goals and two assists (four points) in five games with the Phantoms this season. The former fourth-round pick had two points (1G / 1A) in 15 games with Philadelphia last year and is expected to make his season debut on the fourth-line.

Farabee was one of the final cuts in training camp and one of the Flyers’ best prospects. After scoring just 15 goals in six games (2.50 GF/gm) the Flyers are looking to inject some offence into their lineup. Farabee was a first-round pick (No.14 overall) in 2018 and has registered three goals and one assist in his first four AHL games. The 19-year-old is expected to make his debut on the third line (with Kevin Hayes and Scott Laughton) and the first power-play unit.

Szwarz failed to record a point in three games with the Senators during his call-up. His return to the AHL means that Artem Anisimov will be back in the lineup on Monday. Szwarz does not have a point in three AHL games.

Luukkonen is the Sabres top goaltending prospect and former second-round pick (2017). He missed the start of the 2019-20 campaign after hip surgery but is close to making his season debut. He was 38-11-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .920 SV% in 53 games with Sudbury (OHL) last year.

Borgstrom failed to record a point in four games this season and was a healthy scratch in each of the last two games. He heads to Springfield, where he started last season and had five goals and 17 assists (22 points) in 24 games.

Gagner has two goals and two assists in his first four games with the Condors this season. During his brief time with the Oilers last season, the veteran forward collected 10 points (5G /5A) in 25 games.

Haas had one assist in his first five career NHL games after coming over from Switzerland this offseason. He will swap spots with Sam Gagner, who comes up from Bakersfield.

Ness started his career with the Islanders before landing with the Capitals for the last four seasons. Ness has one assist in four AHL games with Tucson and got called-up because Jordan Oesterle was moved to IR.
