Marincin has only appeared in two games with the Maple Leafs this season and with the their third pairing struggling, Toronto has swapped Marincin for former second-round pick Travis Dermott. Marincin returns to the AHL where he has seven points (2G / 5A) and a plus-13 rating in 18 games.
