Lewington had one goal and one assist in two games with the Capitals during his call-up. With Brooks Orpik returning from a knee injury on Monday, Lewington heads back to Hershey, where he has two goals and four assists (six points) in 26 games.

Wolanin has spent most of the season with Belleville, where he has five goals and 13 assists (18 points) in 26 games. Wolanin could draw into the lineup on Saturday with Thomas Chabot injured. The 23-year-old, former fourth-round pick has one goal and two assists in 11 career NHL games.

Koekkoek has been a healthy scratch for the last 18 games so the Lightning have sent him down to get some playing time. The 24-year-old, who has just one goal in nine games with Tampa Bay this season, had 13 points (2G / 11A) in 48 games the last time he was in the AHL (2016-17).

Kaskisuo spent some time in the AHL and ECHL last season but has gone 3-5-0 with a 4.12 GAA and .866 SV% in 11 games with the Marlies this season. Kaskisuo figures to serve as Garret Sparks’ backup on Saturday with Frederik Andersen dealing with a groin injury.

Boyle has been recalled because John Gibson suffered an upper-body injury on Thursday. Boyle figures to serve as Chad Johnson’s backup on Saturday.

Bayreuther appeared in 19 games during his call-up while the Stars blueline was decimated by injuries. The 24-year-old had five points (2G / 3A) during that time but returns to the AHL where has two goals and three assists in seven games.

Alzner routinely served as a healthy scratch earlier in the season and was eventually waived and sent to Laval. Overall, he has one assist in eight games with Montreal and two points (1G / 1A) in 10 games with Laval. He could play Friday in Florida on the third pair with Brett Kulak.

McNiven comes up to serve as Antti Niemi’s backup while Carey Price is out with a lower-body injury. McNiven has gone 4-4-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .884 SV% in 12 games with Laval this season.

Eriksson Ek was the No.20 overall pick in 2015 but has struggled to get his offensive game going at the NHL-level. Eriksson Ek has just four points (1G / 3A) in 27 games this year so he heads back to the AHL where he had eight points (3G / 5A) in eight games last season.

Moore recorded an assist in his NHL debut before the Christmas break and returns to the Maple Leafs with Tyler Ennis out. Moore has 17 goals and seven assists (24 points) in 27 games with the Marlies.

With Craig Anderson still sidelined, Hogberg returns as the Senators’ No.2 netminder. Hogberg has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.32 GAA and .916 SV% with Belleville this season.


Francouz is in his first season in the AHL after spending three full seasons in the Czech Republic and three more in the KHL. The 28-year-old netminder has gone 13-5-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .921 SV% in 21 AHL games. Francouz likely won’t even dress on Saturday.

Greer has not recorded a point in four games with the Avalanche but has been great in the AHL. The 22-year-old, former second-round pick has nine goals and 12 assists (21 points) in 21 games with he Eagles.

Dries has split his campaign between the NHL and AHL. During his time with the Avalanche, Dries has four points (2G / 2A) in 16 games. Dries could be back in the lineup on Saturday with Colin Wilson going on IR.

Hogberg was a third-round pick (No.78 overall) in 2013 and is in his third AHL season. Hogberg has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.55 GAA and .906 SV% in seven games this season and will likely only serve as Mike McKenna’s backup on Saturday.
