Gauthier was announced to have played through a transverse process fracture, although no other details were provided by the Ducks besides saying he was cleared to play through it. He did miss five games late in the season due to an upper-body injury, so it may have been related to this injury.

The Ducks also confirmed that Gudas had been dealing with an ankle sprain, but was cleared to return had the team advanced to the Western Conference Final. He missed seven games late in the regular season, as well as 11 of the 12 playoff games due to the injury.
