• [DET] Robert Hagg (D) is expected to play in the Red Wings home opener after suffering a head injury in training camp.
• [CBJ] Kent Johnson was recalled from Cleveland (AHL) and will make his season debut on Friday.
• [SJS] Mario Ferraro (D) will play Friday after suffering an upper-body injury in Wednesday’s practice.
