Blues activate Jake Neighbours from injured reserve, will return vs. Flyers

The St. Louis Blues announced Thursday that forward Jake Neighbours has been activated from injured reserve.

Neighbours will be in the lineup for the Bluesā Thursday game against the Philadelphia Flyers, according to NHL.com reporter Adam Kimelman.
Jake Neighbours returns to Blues lineup tonight vs. Flyers, replacing Mathieu Joseph. Joel Hofer starts in goal.
The team also announced that forward Alexandre Texier has been designated as non-roster.

Neighbours has been out with a lower-body injury since the Bluesā 6-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings. He finished the game with two goals and 13:55 of ice time.
In eight games this season, he has six goals and one assist for seven points. Despite missing 12 games, he is still tied with Jordan Kyrou for the team lead in goals.
Through five NHL seasons, Neighbours has 62 goals and 41 assists for 103 points in 219 career regular-season games. He recorded a career-high 27 goals in 2023-24, and he recorded career highs in assists and points with 24 and 46, respectively, last season.
Heās also played in seven Stanley Cup Playoff games, recording a goal and five assists for six points.
Neighbours is in the first year of a two-year, $7.5-million contract extension signed lats season. He will earn $3.75 million per year through 2026-27.
As for Texier, he recorded one assist in eight games this season. Through seven NHL seasons, the 26-year-old has 40 goals and 51 assists for 91 points in 240 regular-season games. Heās also scored twice and has six assists in eight points in 21 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
