The Jets have signed Andrew Copp to a two-year contract worth $4.56 million ($2.28M AAV).
Copp was awarded a $2.28M AAV contract by an independent arbitrator and is signed through the 2021 season. Copp missed 13 games last year but had a career-high 11 goals to go along with 14 assists while ranking third among Jets forwards in SH TOI/GM (1:22).

Copp (undisclosed) will return to the Jets lineup on Thursday.
Copp has missed the last 10 games with an upper-body injury but is set to play Thursday vs. the Flames. Copp has just two goals and two assists (four points) in 23 games this season.

Copp (knee) is expected to be ready for the season opener.
Copp was dealing with a sore knee after taking a shot off of his right leg during the preseason. Copp is expected to start the season on the third line with Adam Lowry and Joel Armia. The 23-year-old forward had nine goals and eight assists (17 points) in 64 games with the Jets last season.

Copp was sent down on Wednesday but did not get into a game with the Moose. With Marko Dano getting hurt last night and being placed on IR this afternoon, Copp is back with the Jets, where he has four goals and three assists (seven points) in 25 games this season.

Copp suffered an upper-body injury injury on Halloween and was held out of Monday’s game. Comp has been placed on IR so the Jets could recall Patrice Cormier from Manitoba (AHL).
