Carlo (undisclosed) is expected to draw back into the Bruins lineup on Thursday.

Carlo missed the Bruins' previous game due to an undisclosed injury and will return to Boston's lineup Thursday as he replaces Connor Clifton. The 26-year-old has three goals, 11 assists, 75 SOG, 27 PIMs and a +34 plus/minus through 60 games played before his injury.

The Bruins have signed Brandon Carlo to a six-year, $24.6 million contract extension.

Carlo struggled with injuries during the 2021 campaign, missing 29 of the 56 games and finishing with just three goals and one assist. Still, he's an integral part of the Bruins' top-4 moving forward and they made a lengthy commitment to the 24-year-old.

Carlo (oblique) will play either Monday or Tuesday.

Head coach Bruce Cassidy said that Carlo and Kevan Miller will each play a game in the back-to-back in New Jersey but won't play the same game. So Carlo will be back in either Monday or Tuesday but won't play both. It seems more likely that Miller will dress Monday and sit out Tuesday, clearing the way for Carlo.
