McNabb was suspended one game for his hit on Ryan Poehling in Game 5 of Vegas' series against Anaheim.

The NHL's Department of Player Safety suspended McNabb for what they deemed to be "interference" against Anaheim's Ryan Poehling. Poehling attempted but failed to clear the puck out of the Ducks' zone mid-way through the first period when McNabb stepped up to lay a late hit on the unsuspecting Duck. Poehling has been ruled out indefinitely, while McNabb will be forced to watch Game 6 from the press box.

McNabb (COVID-19) will be a game-time decision for Game 7.

McNabb missed Game 6 after being added to the COVID-19 reserve list but the Golden Knights are hopeful that he will be available for Game 7. Head coach Pete DeBoer said that "after a positive test you must have multiple negative tests to prove it was a false positive, and they’re still waiting on those results."
