Brenden Morrow News

FRISCO -- Stars captain Brenden Morrow, who missed Saturday's game with a neck/shoulder issue, is expected to miss at least the next three games.

Not great news for the Stars' captain. While battling through injuries most of the season, the left wing has eight goals and 22 points in 43 games. Eric Nystrom replaced him on the second line.

Brenden Morrow will play tonight. Says the knee feels better. Has to decide whether or not he will wear a knee brace.

Nothing a little tape can't fix. In all seriousness, the Stars captain is one tough customer and doesn't want to miss any game action. He has seven goals and 17 points through 30 games.

FRISCO -- Stars captain Brenden Morrow, who missed Wednesday's game with an upper body injury, is expected to be out the next three games as well. Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said he expects Morrow to return next Thursday, meaning Morrow will not play in Friday, Saturday and Monday's games.

If you own Morrow, remember to bench the captain. While he has slumped slightly with only three goals and nine points, his 39 PIM have been a nice positive. Expect a further update on the power forward.
