Rosen likely won't play during his promotion but he takes Mark Barberio's spot on the roster with Barberio going on a conditioning stint.

The Avalanche have reassigned Calle Rosen to Colorado (AHL).
Rosen was a healthy scratch for the last two games, so he goes back to the AHL with Anton Lindholm staying with the team. The 25-year-old has eight points (1G / 7A) in 13 AHL games this season.
Rosen will be a healthy scratch on Wednesday.
Rosen played in four straight games but will take a seat with Anton Lindholm making his season debut in Chicago. Rosen has two assists while playing 13:49 ATOI in eight games since being called-up.
Rosen will make his Avalanche debut on Wednesday.
Rosen was recently recalled from Colorado (AHL) and will replace Erik Johnson (lower-body) in the lineup on Wednesday. Rosen, who was acquired in the Tyson Barrie/Nazem Kadri trade, has eight points (1G / 7A) in 13 AHL games this season. He had one goal and one assist in eight career NHL games.

The Avalanche have acquired Calle Rosen, Nazem Kadri, and a 2020 third-round pick from the Maple Leafs for Tyson Barrie, Alex Kerfoot and a 2020 sixth-round pick.
The Maple Leafs have signed Calle Rosen to a two-year extension worth $1.5M ($750K AAV).
Rosen figures to be a part of the Maple Leafs NHL plans in 2018-19 after signing him to a one-way deal. Rosen is an undrafted free agent who came over from Sweden. He has taken his offensive game to a new-level this year, picking up 19 points (2G / 17A) in 24 games with the Marlies.
