Pastrnak (hip) will not play the next two games; could make his season debut on Saturday.

Pastrnak took off his "no contact" jersey for Monday's practice and could make his season debut later this week. Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy said that he will not play Tuesday or Thursday vs. the Penguins but may play Saturday in Washington. Cassidy said that Pastrnak will immediately return to the top line with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.

Pastrnak (hip) has resumed skating and is believed to be "a little bit ahead" of his original mid-February timetable.

Pastrnak was originally expected to miss the first month of the season, roughly 15 games, but head coach Bruce Cassidy provided some positive information on Tuesday. Pastrnak is one of the most polarizing players in fantasy drafts this season but this update provides optimism that could push his ADP into the second round.

The Penguins have signed Maxime Lagace to a one-year contract worth $700K.

In his first year in the Boston Bruins organization, Lagace played the whole season in Providence (AHL). The 27-year-old netminder was second in the AHL in wins (22) and ninth in SV% (.919). Lagace is expected to be the No.1 netidner in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) to start 2021 and would be the first goalie recalled if Tristan Jarry or Casey DeSmith get hurt.
