Maxime Lagace News

Lagace will start Friday in Carolina.

Lagace will make his season debut after going 9-6-0 with a 2.79 GAA and .899 SV% in 19 AHL games this season. Lagace was 6-7-1 with a 3.92 GAA and .867 SV% in 16 games with the Golden Knights last year, so keep him on the waiver wire tonight in Carolina.

Lagace allowed seven goals on 29 shots before leaving Tuesday’s game in Edmonton with an injury. He has now won just two of his seven starts (+ one relief appearance) while posting a brutal 4.12 GAA and .860 SV%. No disrespect, but he was the Golden Knights’ fourth string goalie for a reason, so he’s a very risky fantasy option.
