Gambrell will come out of the lineup on Wednesday due to a foot injury. Alexander True will draw in to replace him and centre the third line with Kevin Labanc and Noah Gregor.

Gambrell missed one game with a concussion because a few got cancelled due to COVID-19 protocol but he's expected to be back Saturday vs. the Blues. Gambrell would replace Tomas Hertl, who is the one on the COVID-19 list. He has just two assists in 13 games this season.

Gambrell entered concussion protocol during Saturday's game in St. Louis following a hit from Kyle Clifford. With Gambrell out on Monday, Marcus Sorensen will draw back into the lineup.

Gambrell was a healthy scratch in the first three games of the season but will centre the Sharks third line as head coach Bob Boughner searches for more production from his bottom-6. Gambrell has played in seven straight games but is expected to be scratched in favour of Noah Gregor vs. the Canucks.

Gambrell missed the last three games with a hand injury but was on the ice for today's morning skate and will be a game-time decision vs. the Wild. Gambrell has one goal and three assists in 12 games this season.

Gambrell suffered an upper-body injury in Boston on Tuesday and will not play in the Sharks' Friday/Saturday back-to-back. Gambrell, who has four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games, will be replaced by Jonny Brodzinski on Friday.

The Sharks have assigned Gambrell to AHL to clear a roster spot for Michael Haley, who was claimed off of waivers from the Panthers. The 22-year-old returns to the AHL, where h has 11 goals and 19 assists (30 points) in 32 games this season.

Gambrell has not recorded a point in six games with the Sharks this season. He returns to the AHL where he has 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points) in 31 games.

Gambrell missed the morning skate and is questionable to play Monday in Vancouver. Lukas Radil will draw into the lineup for Gambrell and skate on the fourth line if he can't play.

Gambrell had two goals and one assist in his season debut with the Barracuda before being called-up following Joe Thornton’s move to IR. With the Sharks off until Thursday, Gambrell could just head down to get some AHL games and return before their meeting with the Sabres.
