Larkin (upper-body) will not play on Thursday.

Larkin was hurt late in Tuesday's loss in Dallas and will not be available for Thursday's rematch in Detroit. The Red Wings' captain will undergo further evaluation and a more detailed injury report will likely be revealed in the coming days. Expect Evgeny Svechnikov to draw back into the lineup to replace Larkin.

Larkin (upper-body) is "probable" to return to the Red Wings lineup on Tuesday.

Larkin has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury but is expected to play on Tuesday. Head coach Jeff Blashill called him "probable" but he's also still considered a game-time decision. Larkin has struggled to just four goals in 22 games due to a 5.5 SH%.

Larkin (undisclosed) is expected to play on Friday.

Larkin missed Thursday's practice but head coach Jeff Blashill anticipates his No.1 centre playing in Carolina. After going quiet for a few games, Larkin has tallied two goals and two assists in his last two games, giving him 11 points (4G / 7A) in 13 games this season.

Larkin (undisclosed) playing in the season opener is “a definite possibility.”

Larkin left Tuesday’s practice early but head coach Jeff Blashill said that the injury is not significant and he could play in Saturday’s opener. This is obviously huge news for the Red Wings, but monitor their No.1 centres status over the next few days.

Larkin is day-to-day with a back injury.

Larkin will sit out Thursday’s game vs. the Rangers with a lingering back issue. Larkin is day-to-day and is questionable heading into their weekend back-to-back in Florida. Andreas Athansiou, Luke Glendening and Frans Nielsen will serve as the team’s top-3 centres with Larkin out.

Larkin (oblique) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Larkin missed Saturday’s game in Ottawa with an oblique injury that he suffered in overtime vs. the Maple Leafs last Friday. The Red Wings are a totally different team without Larkin so they will need him tonight if they want any chance against the Golden Knights.

Larkin (upper-body) has been cleared to play Tuesday vs. the Devils.

Larkin missed the final two games before the All-Star break, but has been cleared to return to the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. Larkin has 12 goals and six assists (18 points) in 47 games this season and the Red Wings have sent Drew Miller to Grand Rapids (AHL) to make room for him.
