Chekhovich will make his NHL debut on Friday.
Chekhovich was a seventh-round pick in 2017 and returns to North America after spending the 2021 season in the KHL. The 22-year-old winger, who will debut on a line with Logan Couture and Rudolfs Balcers, had 17 goals and 17 assists (34 points) in 43 games with Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo.
