The Avalanche placed J.T. Compher (thumb) on IR.
Compher broke his thumb against the Blues on Friday and is expected to miss three weeks. Moving Compher to IR opened up a roster spot for the Avalanche to recalled A.J. Greer from San Antonio (AHL). Look for him to miss roughly 6-8 games.
